Lots of good teams this year.....
I'm going with
Saints over the Pats... 28 - 24.

I obviously don't see why this poll is even necessary ...

In the spirit of the Detroit Tigers, the Lions will rise from the ashes and topple the Colts 42-27 in the SuperBowl.

Da Bears!!!
No, seriously, the Bears, in a snooze fest; 14-9 over the San Diego Superchargers.

I say the Saints every year, but this year there just may be some truth to it.

The number of people not voting for the Colts is distressing to me. It pains me that only Eliath and I know what we're talking about when it comes to football around this joint.

After twenty seven years of suffering as a Saints fan, this will finally be their year.
The Colts won't repeat, they won't even win their divison because it will belong to the Patriots

The Seahawks have made the playoffs 4 years in a row and really improved their secondary during the off season. I personally wouldn't pick them to be this year's Super Bowl champions but they should contend (especially if Alexander is healthy) and deserve to be among the 18 teams listed on this poll. As for my pick, I'm going with the San Diego Chargers.

As for my pick, I'm going with the San Diego Chargers. Ummmm....you do realize Norv Turner is their coach now, right? I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chargers miss the playoffs this year.

Yeah, they replaced a coach who couldn't win the big game with a coach who just can't win. Net result: WORSE They have so much talent that you'd like to think even Norv can't screw it up....but no one can convince me he's a better option than Old Marty.

Considering my luck with the NFL at the sportsbooks, now that I picked them they probably will miss the playoffs. ;D Every year I usually make more than I lose at basketball and (especially) baseball, but I don't do nearly as well with football.

Well, I was a Pats fan when they were 1-15, and still when they were 2-14 a couple of years later. I sat through starting qb's like Marc Wilson, Hugh Millen, Tommy Hodson and last but not least Tony Eason (who I believe they drafted before Miami took Dan Marino in '83). So, now that they have won three super bowls this decade, I would be a fool to jump off the wagon now.
GO PATS!!!!!!!
