So, I bought Driven on DVD due to my recording of the Pay-Per-View royally messing up. I got it today, and popped disc two in because I wanted to see KENTA/Danielson, because a buddy of mine said that it didn't matter how much I disliked both of them, it was an amazing match.
So I went into this one with an open mind, and the Chicago crowd is usually shit hot for anything involving Danielson. After about 5 or 6 minutes, the crowd seemed to have just died down completely, and it stays this way for most of the match. Then again, the KENTA running powerbomb botch probably didn't help either. All that aside, the ending stretch was just fantastic. It was definitely the high point of the match with the whole finisher stealing stuff they were doing.
I've seen their Glory By Honor V and NOAH 12/2/06 matches, but out of the three, this was by far the most underwhelming match of the three when you take everything into account. It was good, but not the ***** match people built it up to be.
Has anyone else seen this, and if you have seen it, what did you think?

I really enjoyed the match. As you said it slowed down in the middle but really picked up in the last section of the bout. I haven't seen their previous one on one matches so I can't compare them to this one but I think it's forgotten about when put in the same DVD as Danielson Vs McGuinness.

I was there live for this match the crowd didnt die if you were there everyone was glued to the ring in unison. You could see it when you looked around. Ive been to alot of wrestling shows and I think I enjoyed this one more than the Briscoe Ladder War which I highly enjoyed as well. Yeah the crowd was red hot for the ladder war though.
