Really strange night in both good and bad ways. I didnt post results yesterday because I was not in the mood due to taking a nasty spill as soon as I got out of my buddies car at the show. My leg was pretty screwed up but he said man up and lets go watch some ROH. I agreed but was a little sour. The weather here in Chicago yesterday was about as abysmal as you could want with icy rain gumming up the works. There was just a weird vibe going on and start time was pushed back. Then we got to the dark matches.
Dark Matches
Alex "Sugarfoot" Payne def. Rhett Titus in a alright match and to hear how over Sugarfoot is in Chicago is hilarious due to being a hometown boy.
Ernie Osiris def. Mitch Franklin in a ok match.
Ok dark matches were good and there was about a 15 min gap between them and the show start at 8:00.
Main Show
After the staff intro they had a brief announcement about how the Trios Tournament had been canceled due to weather and some of the talent not making it. (Tornado, Butcher, Evans, and Ruckus were in a car accident but they never said this) It was then announced that the night would host Unscripted 3. There was a mixed bag reaction here with half being upset and half being excited and then Austin Aries came out. He gave the crowd a pep talk and thanked everyone for coming and said they would not disappoint. Everyone took his word like money in the bank and was in a much better mood. Smart move by ROH.
Austin throws down the open challenge and Tyler Black showed up with Lacey and some other new hot emo valet.
1. Austin Aries def. Tyler Black via the 450 Splash in a highly competitive match up. Hot opener
Next Lacey stayed in the ring with her new woman servant acolyte chick and demanded a match. Out came Sara Del Rey
2. Sara Del Ray def. Lacey via pinfall after a Royal Butterfly suplex. This was ok but could have been saved for a little later but made sense in the context of the wrestlers already being in the ring and calling out competition.
Steam was losing from our Aries talking too and then they said Six Man Mayhem... announced the wrestlers and everyone one said what the ^%$%&*)
3. 6 Man Mayhem: Dingo def. Ben Wallace, Silas Young, Trik Davis, Seth Skyfire, and Danny Daniels had a alright finish but everyone was getting a bit worried and then the Briscoes appeared.
- The Briscoes were in street clothes and destroyed everyone and said they didnt know what the hell was going on either. Everyone laughed and they said somebody was gonna get whooped later.
I believe this was also the time in the night were we all spotted Sugarfoot working the spotlight and everyone popped pretty good with a Sugarfoot chant. The crowd was making its own fun throughout the show but it was kinda needed on this night.
After this Hero makes his entrance
- Chris Hero calls out the "Swiss thorn in my side."
4. Claudio Castagnoli def. Chris Hero(with Sara Del Rey amd Bobby Dempsey) with his Alpamare Waterslide. Funny parts involved Hero slapping around Dempsey for no good reason and Sara consoling him.At one point a fan gave Bobby a candy bar and got a huge pop. In a match that I was on the ropes about. I dont know it went a little long and Hero was doing his run away tactics but good none the less.
Then Sweeny came out and said he demanded 2 out of 3 falls! Normally I would have marked out but I was ready for the next match but they sped up the next 2 falls so it wasnt that bad.
1st. fall Claudio 1-0 after his Alpamare Waterslide.
Hero then instantly got the 2nd fall with a Hero's Welcome.
Hero ties up 1-1 with a Hero's Welcome.
They go at it for another 5 minutes or so and Claudio wins via roll up but I stopped paying attention for a sec because my leg was killing me.

- Sweet n' Sour Inc. jump Claudio after the match
Intermission
Nigel and Sara Del Rey were signing autographs.

First was the appearance of more Sugarfoot(enough is enough) and Ernie Osiris and they waited for some tag competition what they got was the Hangmen 3.
5. Adam Pearce and Shane Hagadorn def. Alex Payne and Ernie Osiris via Spike Piledriver in a squash
Brent then called out someone.
6. Brent Albright def. Jigsaw via Half-Nelson Suplex in a good match but the crowd was pretty dead.
Now is was BJ's turn to call someone out and he got Delirious who was saving the show for me when he went nuts with chair shots and topes to wipe out the other three members. BJ then called for there match to be a no dq match.
7. BJ Whitmer vs. Delirious was pretty insane when they fought all over the venue with chairshots and at one point Delirious grabbed this womans umbrella who had no idea what was going on because she was in the bathroom and decimated Whitmer with it. It was priceless because when she came back with here 3 little girls and picked up her huge umbrella(it was one of those family size ones) she had 1. no idea what happened to her umbrella and 2. no idea what happened to her seats due to the brawl in crowd. Anyway back to the match there was lots of BJ blood and sick spots but the Hangmen came back with a huge chain and killed Delirious and hung him over the ropes. No Contest.
- Hangm3n beat down on Delirious afterwards. They tore his mask off and beat him with a chain. Students tried to make the save but were chased off. Mitch Franklin bench pressed into the crowd by Albright.
Now Jimmy came out and gave a speech about how sometimes you have to break something beautiful to get your point across and sometimes you have to beat the best... Cue American Dragon's music.
8. Jimmy Jacobs vs Bryan Danielson and let me say these two had a war. Dragon started out with his usual wrestling clinic outclassing Jimmy at every turn and then Jimmy grabbed his cane.Jimmy goes for the swing and Dragon catches it but Jimmy pulls out the handle and shows off a cane knife which he stabs Dragon in the face with. After this it just gets insane because Dragon is bleeding like a champ and uses a little fighting spirit to get back into things with Cattle Mutilation, a couple of MMA elbows, some straight up reverse curb stomps to Jimmy's face. This totally lived up to the "Your gonna get your f'n head kicked in chants that happened earlier in the match. Still none the less Jimmy survived and turned Dragons top rope belly to back into a Top Rope Guillotine DDT and got the submission via ko in 23:32 crowd goes nuts - Match of the night with flying colors.
After the match Nigel came out to point out how the mighty have fallen and to Jimmy Jacob's at that. This was over Dragons dead body. Out came Roderick Strong and took out Nigel challenging him to a title match at the next Chicago in Jan. Out came Stevens and the rest of the NRC and the Briscoes. We then got an impromptu Trios Match which was a ode to what may have been.
9. Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe, and Erick Stevens def. No Remorse Corps via Mark Briscoe Cutthroat Driver on Davey Richards but the other two members got there finishers off in stereo with a Doctor Bomb from Stevens and a Jay Driller for Jay. Spotaculer!
The confusion was still running wild because know one was sure if this was the main event or not but everyone just up and left anyway when we got the thanks for coming. All in all it was a pretty good show. It was shorter then usual but felt like a eternity but that was just because I was in a bad mood before I even got into the door. I really wanted to see the Trios Tournament because im a sucker for a good tournament but oh well ill run one in Fire Pro and that will cheer me up. Jacobs vs Danielson priceless and I really hope it has some meaning in the near future and is not just forgotten because of the strangeness that was UNSCRIPTED 3
