I was at the show and the ladder match is just insane! One of the greatest matches I have ever seen live in my life. Unreal!

Since it hasn't gotten a lot of pub, want to make a reminder that ROH's "Man Up" debuts on inDemand PPV tomorrow night. Awesome show. From a pure wrestling standpoint from start-to-finish, it ranks with the best PPV shows ever.

This may just be me, but I found that show to be the worst out of the three ROH PPVs so far. The only good matches on it (again IMO) were the opener, DR/Aries, and Romero/Cross. Roddy/Stevens wasn't as good as people said, and the ladder match was just freaking terrible.

And before I catch any heat for it, I'll elaborate. They break a ladder early on, and then turn the damn thing around so seconds later one of the Briscoes could go through it. They proceed to do more pointless spots, including a sorta nifty looking doomsday device. This is by far the worst match out of the Steenerico/Briscoes feud, and seriously the most overrated ladder match I've ever seen. The DBD V Night One Street Fight blows the ladder match out of the water.

I have to admit I'm suprised. I believe the ladder match was probably one of the greatest matches I've ever seen live. Now granted it may not look as good on tv but seeing it live was insane!

Kind of shocking. Out of literally 40 or so people I've read, talked to online or talked to in person you are the only person that didn't think this match was off the charts incredible.

Had they not done so many ladder breaks, I might have enjoyed the match. Their DBD V Night 1 Match blows it away in every capacity. There is nothing off the charts about this ladder match.

But then again, that's just my opinion. I'm not going to hate on those who appreciate the match. I just don't see what all the praise is about.

Could it have been all the hype that killed it for you. I know alot of my friends can be like that but I usually just take things as is for the most part. I thought it was great but also I was there so thats that.

Yeah, you also have to factor in that things don't always translate well from live to DVD/TV. Because I've had a few people who were there live tell me that it was an amazing match, but even when they watched it on TV they said the match wasn't as good.

I will agree on that aspect. I have seen many ROH matches that have quite translated from seeing them live to seeing them on DVD. In fact one of my favorite matches live ever was from Generation Now in Cleveland with Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Jack Evans, and Matt Sydal vs. Davey Richards, Jerelle Clark, and the Irish Airborne. I loved that match and was on my feet for it but seeing in on DVD it just didn't have the same feel.
