Okey I can't really give a good rundown on this promotion, but from the ROH DRIVEN pay-per-view, I can say that these guys deliver solid in-ring action. I was entertained from start to finish, I knew a few guys from Roderick Strong, Nigel McGuinness, Delirious and Austin Aries. I loved the return of Aries, great stuff there. I'd say that yes ROH is an indy promotion thats does it right, while TNA as of late has done it not so good and I'm going to think about getting ROH DVD's and their PPV's that will air on iNDEMAND.
So to end this WWE, TNA and ROH STATE OF WRESTLING threads... I'll just say that ROH has opened my eye's to a whole new and fresh venue of wrestling and I'll be judging the three products now with a crucial eye.

With ROH you will be seeing most of it's focus on the matches. There's still some comedy and gimmicks going about, that's nothing to be ashamed of for any wrestling promotion. Guys like Delirious and El Generico have proved (or will prove when the next PPVs/DVDs come out) that they are much more than comedy characters. There's still some problems since no fed is perfect, but it gets it's goals right more often than not. In my opinion, ROH provides the most exciting product in the US today.

My only complaint about ROH is the crowds. While they are usually hot for everything going on it sometimes seems like they are trying to get noticed on the DVDs more than the wrestlers.
But that's a small complaint. ROH isn't WWE and it isn't trying to be. They focus more on wrestling and offer solid and entertaining matches. Not that I like them more or less than WWE, but they are two different meals and I enjoy both in my diet.
