This is stolen from the ROH board, but...
would you guys be interested in doing a sort of Pick 'Em league, where one would pick the winners and place confidence points next to the person who thinks they're going to win. If they win, you get those point... if not, you don'!
1) Pick the winner(s) of each match.
2) Assign a 'confidence point' to the match based on your confidence in that wrestler winning the match.
3) Only use confidence points once each, i.e. Once you place '5' as a CP, you cannot use it again on another match.
4) You may edit your picks up until belltime on the night of the show.
5) Any editing or posting of your post that contains your picks after belltime, will cause the picks to be thrown out. If you need to edit your picks BEFORE bell time, please edit your original post, don't make a new one
6) You may choose "No Contest" or "Draw" as your choice for the outcome of the match. If the match begins with the announced participants, it will be scored. If it is not an official match and never begins (i.e. just a brawl, no ref, no bell) the match will be thrown out. If the match changes participants, it will be thrown out.
So if there were - for example - 3 matches, you would have the numbers 1 through 3 to use. Here's a sample way to use them:
Bryan Danielson (3) vs. Mitch Franklin
The Briscoes (2) vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico
Nigel McGuinness vs. Claudio Castagnoli (1)
See, I KNOW Danielson is going to win, so I bid the most 'confidence points' on him. I think The Briscoes will win, so I put 2 by them. Nigel vs. Claudio is a toss-up, so I only risk the 1 on them.
Make sense? Would this be fun?
