Absolutely. The guys that I went with, a few of which aren't the most sentimental of fellows, definitely had pools of tears behind those stern eyes they were portraying to the world.

Hell, I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty close myself.

Still it doesn't surpass being in the audience for Kobashi, which was by far the greatest night I've ever had in a wrestling arena. (I'm sure you've picked up by my posts here and on the Deuce that I'm quite the puro geek though.)

Clarification on the other post: I thought Danielson/Nigel was last year's MOTY over Fight of the Century. Though I haven't seen FOTC since being cooped up in a hotel room the weekend of Survival of the Fittest so my memory may be a bit off on that one.

I'll watch it again soon!

Could be The Briscoes will be a target... that's my guess. They are way over as heels and really embody everything ROH is all about. Those guys are honorable if nothing else. Maybe Jacobs and Whitmer reunite? I hope that's not the case as I can't see all that hate going away so fast. Maybe Pearce and Whitmer? Those guys were really tight during the CZW feud.

Pearce/Whitmer vs. The Briscoes would be a nice program. I may be the only guy who likes Whitmer, but he gives of his body like nobody else but maybe Jacobs. Pearce is a fantastic heel with serious heat and his spitting on Cabana after Cabana's last match sealed that deal.

There's now a link on www.project161.com to sign up for something. The Briscoes are definitely pictured now on the site. I'll call it now - Marek Brave and Tyler Black are Project 161 and will take the titles from The Briscoes and perhaps starting a revolution against ROH.

I have no idea who Tyler Black and Marek Brave are. But if this is them I should look up some of their matches.

Anyway, some people got e-mails saying "over your face" while others got "cover your face" and "put the puzzle together". I feel like I'm watching a bizarre game of Wheel of Fortune.
