Jimmy Jacobs Vs BJ Whitmer Steel Cage

All I can say to start this off is "Holy ***k!!!"

These two put on one of the most vicious and violent steel cage matches I have ever seen on the show, Supercard of Honor 2. Steel chairs, barbed wire bats, a table and railroad spikes! It is definately the best steel cage match of the year so far. What should also be mentioned is Jimmy's promo at the start of the show. It was effective in putting over his character and his beliefs. I think it was Mick Foley who said that a good heel should believe that his chracter is right. Jimmy uses this well, believing that his love for his manager Lacey is enough motivation to survive the match and defeat Whitmer. The match itself was outstanding and in my mind had that violent edge needed for a steel cage match to be memorable.

Dude I just watched the match tonight! The spot where theyre just going crazy with the spikes and blood is going everyone was nuts! What a great cage match.... the Dragon Gate match to top things off was good and the Strong/Aries match was a good showing between the two and showed some different stuff from them. Strong's chops are the most brutal in wrestling, geez!

Jacobs has such an awesome character... sweet match on a great card

I'm going to buy this DVD at the Dayton show this weekend. I was there live in Detroit and being there was really neat but it's always cool to see how the shows look on DVD.

I bought this DVD at the Chicago show I went to and just got to the Cage match yesterday(I love ROH dvds because I usually watch them over a couple of sittings) but holy crap was this a violent match. I mean wow there was probably like three finishes earlier in the match that everyone would have been fine with but man. I especially like what sounds like "please don't die" chants. Awesome match after that I went to bed because I didnt think the other two matches would hold up after that showing.
