Ring of Honor is the top independent wrestling organization in America. They have a different type of wrestling show, filling a niche for fans who enjoy wrestling over sports entertainment. The roster is full of talented wrestlers and they put on fantastic shows, mostly in the northeast. IMO they put on the most entertaining wrestling shows in the world with a combination of solid booking and a passionate roster. The top stars are "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, Nigel McGuinness, Jay & Mark Briscoe, Chris Hero, Jimmy Rave, Brent Albright, Jimmy Jacobs, BJ Whitmer, Roderick Strong, Delirious, Davey Richards, and more. Recently the roster has seen a lot of movement wiith TNA signing up their mutual wrestlers. Big parts of the roster gone as of a couple months ago (not to mention WWE-signed Colt Cabana) are Austin Aries, Homicide, and Samoa Joe. ROH has working relationships with both Dragon Gate and Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, so you often get to see some of the best Japanese wrestlers of today involed with ROH. Their current champ is NOAH superstar Takeshi Morishima. KENA and Maomichi Marufuji make several trips over a year. At least a dozen different Dragon Gate wrestlers have been over in the last year and a half including roster regulars SHINGO amd Naruki Doi. If you enjoy wrestling without a lot of the frills of the WWE, you'll dig ROH. They have well-thought out storylines and the matches are typically the best all around from what I've seen. If you need advice on which shows to track down, just let me know

ROHvideos.com is the site where ROH match clips and videowires are posted. They recently finished their Fifth Year Festival, a series of around 6 big shows to celebrate their fifth anniversary highlighted with a weekend double shot in Liverpool, England. So there's a few top shows from 2007 already. From 2006 you have the Milestone Series which contained a Wrestlemania Tripleshot weekend (Dragon Gate Challenge, Supercard of Honor and Better Than Our Best: All must have shows), their 100th show and their only show in the ECW arena. Other great shows include Manhatten Madness from 2005, Death Before Dishonor 4 (ROH Vs CZW in Cage of Death), Glory By Honor Weekend and Final Battle 2006. I know I'm leaving out a lot of stuff and I will have to check my tapes to tell you where the best place is to start. I think the ROH topics on this board has the DVD chapters posted in it.

Jamie named some great ones, especially Dragon Gate Challenge and Supercard of Honor. Supercard of Honor has a 6 man tag that was IMO match of the year and one of the best matches I've ever seen

You just have to ignore the fact that one of the best ROH matches in histroy only had Dragon Gate guys in it. Still, an unbelievable match.
