Help set the qualifications that should be used in the vetting process for determining candidacies for the Tag Team Wing of the CotG Online HOF. Decide whether or not the number of official years together should be uninterrupted or not.
If voting 'something else' please define what that something else would be.
Poll will remain open one month.

In the early days Tom would put teams together for a year and then have them split...The AniMen did this religiously with Animal Pack and The Beasts of Burden...one year one team was in and the next another...and then back and then back again...Both Would get my vote as they were AWESOME for me, Badger was a great Tag Partner and Battering Ram and Iron Mane both brought styles with them that made the teams unique but, if you ask me, HOF worthy...
I say 1 year together is long enough...there will be very few teams that were 1-year-wonders that deserve indication, but the voters will decide if that team had the impact in their fed to get them in.
Just ask Mark about Massif and Mesmer...

I voted for 5 years, but I also think that a team's legacy will take care of this itself... I can't think of any teams that were very short term that are Hall of Fame worthy, really.

I would say at least two consecutive years as a team.
Call it the "Titan rule," or the Ani-Man rule, for what it's worth.
Also, I'd assume the GWF Files is the arbiter of official team credits.

I like 2 years.
That's should be the minimum.

I also went with 2 years. For example, Dorado Sundown was in the GWF from 2074-2076 and (although I'm not sure they would get inducted into the COTG Online Hall of Fame) I believe they at least deserve to be on the ballot.

Just a reminder...those voting for 'something else' need to openly state what that something else vote stands for...as Pete Beck, Wad, Payback, MikeMcKinney, Matt & Mr. Vegas have all done. We already have both one year and two year suggestions that fall under that category. In order for a vote to be calculated it needs to be clearly defined.
Thanks

I went with 5 years, but I don't think that needs to be consecutive.

I don't think consecutive needs to be there either, but I like 3 years (the likelihood of someone getting in with only 2 years together is slim, but maybe someone will be an exception) Generally it will be the long lasting teams (gladiators, cosmic forces, etc) that will be there.

One year as a team. What are the chances a team that is only together one year is going to be considered for the Hall of Fame? Not much.

Majority vote has determined that the tenure criteria for a tag team to qualify for the Tag Team Wing of the ballot will be two years. Pending the success of the vetting process...the tentative date for the first CotG HOF Tag Team Ballot will be in November.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to particpate.
