What follows is an account of the results of the first induction class of the CotG Hall of Fame. I want to thank everyone who took the time to vote. I also want to give a special acknowledgment to math wizard Greg Henion aka board member Dragon Breath for his timely certification of the ballots. Were it not for his generosity in devoting his time...you would not be reading the results that follow.
Keep in mind the CotG Hall of Fame is a living institution. Feel free to critique while offering alternative solutions and approaches. At any time you can create institution building polls that offer ideas and concepts that you feel can make it 'more perfect'. Any and all adopted policies are determined by majority vote...be an active part of the process.

Wow, only 2 wrestlers make it. The truly disappointing thing for me, is I think the Glads should be in as first tag team, IMO that would only make sense. But, as is can anyone really complain that Thantos and Star Warrior stand alone as the first 2 inductees...is that not fitting?

Omega definitely should've been in there...that's a crime. However, if only two made it - I'm glad it was SW and Thantos.

I'm sure that there were a few candidates that people will be disappointed weren't in the first class, but I wholeheartedly agree with the second statement. SW and Thantos really launched the COTG phenomenon, and there aren't two more deserving candidates. Thanks to LWPD for all of his efforts during this process- he's done a truly amazing job!

SW and Thantos, fitting for only 2. I agree that Brute or Massacre shouldn't be in as individuals, but does anyone have a more dominating team than the original Gladiators? They've won more in my fed as a team (who have singles matches mixed in) than almost all of my singles stars (except SW, Thantos and Spike).
Surely 1st ballot material.

It is kind of cool they are the only two inducted on the first HoF class.
I said at the start this new online version of the Hall should have started with all of the names that had been inducted through the Promoter already in, and then start with this way of handling ballots and everything from now on.
There were very few names previously in the Hall that wouldn't make it eventually, with Marcel De Sade the only one really standing out, perhaps Billy Jo Boxer. But those characters were elected in along with all of the others and now that is wiped out.
Just my thoughts. This was all a lot of work and I thank those at the point of the project and guiding it to the conclusion.

I'm surprised Chaos didn't make it in. But, really can you think of a better inaugural class than Thantos and Star Warrior? No need for anyone else.

Well, after all of my harping on not making this a "Hall of 'Very Good'" it looks like the admission requirements are going to be very, very stringent for this thing. Which is a good thing, because that means that those who are inducted will truly have deserved it.
Hats off to Thantos and Star Warrior.

Agree with Chewey, can't call this the "hall of good" anymore.

I missed the voting, but my votes would have been SW, Thantos, Lord Nexus, Bishop Hell and Chaos. Those were the top five guys every time i've run leagues. Probably would have gone with the Gladiators or Greek Gods to round it out, but they were borderline for the first induction.

Surprised that Chaos didn't make it in this time bu I agree with everyone that if had to be only two then it should be Star Warrior+Thantos
Gladiator Legends have to be the tag team entry
