Right now we are in the institution building phase of the project...which is the phase that is open to everyone regardless of what set they are up to or which game edition brands they play. I believe it's best to get 'as much' quality input as possible...even if it comes at a slower pace than could otherwise be achieved.
Yet what do you think? How long should we allow for voting on polls to occur before an issue is considered settled by majority vote?

If we are going with the 75% threshold system, I think that rather than using the COTG polls system, we should first have a list of promoters who wish to participate in the HOF process. Each promoter would receive his/her own ballot (kind of like the BBWA receive their ballots), and each promoter would be responsible for sending the ballot back in... presumably either to LWPD or Wildfire, who loves numbers. Who knows, I may send in a blank ballot the first time up, just to make it more difficult for each card to get inducted into the hall of fame (and also to make sure they're more deserving of it when they do get in).

I think it depends on what system we're going to use to collect the votes... If it's going to be a thread, it will be clear when the voting in done, and there can be a last call when the posts have slowed down.. that way no one will miss out if they are not around for a few days.
If we want the ballots to be secret (i.e. cast via PM) then a time frame should definately exist... I'd say a week would probably do it.

I think a secret ballot would be best and a week to vote sounds good
