Please use this thread to let us know how your attempts at playing multiplayer with the Game Table fare. We're just as interested in knowing that it works for you as we are in knowing if it doesn't.
When you respond, if you could also let us know what type of operating system and web browser you are using, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

BDS' results!
I was able to sponge off of a neighbor's wireless and test here with Holli with no problems.
I tried testing with the TM at his office, and no luck. He couldn't connect, we're presuming because his office's firewall is locking us out.

Mac 10.4.11 Tried using Safari - 3.0.4 and FireFox 2.0.0.9 and IE 5.2.3 (Which is the last version they made for mac) Latest version of Java installed on a mac. On Safari & Firefox Was able to get through all the setup right until the game table. Last screen I'd get was 'Waiting For Other Players Table To Load', but knew the other person (Todd, BDS) was in the game table already. The Java Box on Safari (during the grey Waiting to Load' screen) says: --- Client Thread connecting to serverName: www.cotgonlinebeta.com portNum: 5005 Connected to Server host www.cotgonlinebeta.com/63.134.172.198Got fromServer Got toServer may not get here because the thread is now running Server Alert: Did you just refresh this window? ...received received Server Message -- And this box never loads 100% correctly as you can see in the screenshots below (both Firefox and Safari are the same). On IE 5.2.3. - which is no longer made for mac - the web pages wouldn't load 100% correct and they don't make a flash version for that old of browser Even used the Debug menu in Safari one to make sites think I was using WIndows IE, but as it connected to the game table it crashed. I have some screenshots, these were made on my 12" Powerbook, so they aren't full screen. FireFox

Tried connecting with both Markoda and Eliath today and JMello last night.
It said that I connected, but then asked if I refreshed the page, and then kept repeating Null NAN.
I have no idea what Null NAN is, but i was thinking it was something like Redrum...

I'm glad you guys hooked up online. I wonder what happened to my connection...maybe I can only play against Savage T...now that would suck.

Our third match was halted because Encubus was discovered to have been on the 'juice'...hulking up as it were.

I am currently trying to open tables with neilybob & Thad Killian (at the same time) with no success yet..
EDIT: No success. Waited for both parties to finish loading the game table without success. (Null NAN was the reason)

When you guys get failures, if there's any way you could post what's in the Java boxes on BOTH ends, that would be extremely helpful. Maybe have one party e-mail that text over to the other side so I can see who's having the problem.
Thanks again for all of the feedback. This is exactly the kind of stuff that we need to get everything tightened up here. I'm going to be collating stuff from this thread and getting it over to James on Monday to get a couple of tweaks in place, and we'll try to get it tightened up to where we're getting consistent results.

One problem that I saw is when you start getting the Null Nan messages, the screen keeps updating too fast for me to be able to copy whats i the box and I can't stop it.
Maybe a group testing one night this week when we are all in an IM chat room would be helpful.
I'm itching to do an online tournament BDS!
