BDS said to make a thread for this so here's that start... My 'wish list' for new features... most of which (I think) should be easy to add in: -- Cage and Titan Death Matches -- A check box to indicate an injury (or better yet, three of them to incidcate mild-moderate or severe injury, using the chart in one of the ringside companions) -- Check box to give a champion's advantage (this will probably be put in when he does the aCe stuff, I'd imagine0 -- Check box to indicate wether a tag team is official or not -- Some sort of 'personality' setting to make guys makes choices that are more 'heel-y' or 'babyface' (i.e Lord Nexus should only very rarely leave the ring on defense, while Thantos almost always should) I'm sure I'll have more, but that should keep BDS busy for now

-- Cage and Titan Death Matches On the way. -- A check box to indicate an injury (or better yet, three of them to incidcate mild-moderate or severe injury, using the chart in one of the ringside companions) A way to adjust a wrestler's starting PIN rating is on the way. -- Check box to give a champion's advantage (this will probably be put in when he does the aCe stuff, I'd imagine I would assume so also. I haven't confirmed this with Larry, but I'm guessing he'll have a way to implement this. -- Check box to indicate wether a tag team is official or not I think BDS just mentioned that he'd be working on this soon. As of now, every tag-team has to roll 6. -- Some sort of 'personality' setting to make guys makes choices that are more 'heel-y' or 'babyface' (i.e Lord Nexus should only very rarely leave the ring on defense, while Thantos almost always should) Glad you brought this up! Larry and I are as geeked as ever when discussing a whole intracate set of personalites. For example, an Aerialist (like Lord Nexus) would be prone to deathjumps but not tossing a guy out of the ring, a Daredevil (like Payback) would go for both as much as possible, a Monster (like Nosfera or Hybrid) always for the most damaging situation, or an Animal(like Mutant or The Creeper) might go for the choice move that is actually HARDER to hit...plus as many more as we all can think of. ~ :-Xsk

Personalities like that are an even better idea that I was thinking! I thought of a couple others too: -- Incorporating Managers/ringside allies... this could probably be part of their personality as well, in terms of how likely interference is. -- A way to set a guy to 'defend the belt' mode, where a heel could try to get himself DQ'ed -- Getting the Double Team chart into tag matches.

Couple things on the tags (I may have more, only played two matches so far)
- There should be some amount of moves before tags start.. I had one after the 1st move of the match (on offense, that is) and I didn't think that made alot of sense.
- This kinda goes with the personalities thing, but I'd love to be able to give different teams different frequencies.
- Any chance of getting the double team chart in play?

How about having the pbp simulator open a new window BEFORE the results.. that way the Card management screen would still be there, ready for the result to be added.

Two more :
- Time limit? Since the tracker nicely handles draws now, why not?
- Outside Interference... maybe a way to note a ringside ally, with a check box to indiciate whether or not said ally is prepared to interfere in the match (via the outside Int. Chart, or on Out of the Ring situations) This would be a good way to incorporate the manager charts like Strutter and Thantos too.

How about some color... maybe one guy/team in red, the other in blue?
Besides the obvious nod to its roots, it would make the results a little easier to read.

For the future releases I would like to see the finisher rating: ex - Star Warrior's Cosmic Big Bang +4, +5, +6 or Mayhem's Leap of Doom rating. That way I can visualize the strength of the move. Hope that made sense.

Hope that made sense. You do already - kinda. On any roll finisher, you should see the actual roll of the dice that brought the finisher about. So for Bloodline, when he hits the COSMIC BIG BANG, you see the finisher roll immediately below it.

I just noticed something:
Pulsar (l1o1): fireman's carry - 1 Death Knight (l1d4): hurt - 2 Pulsar (l2o5): reverse piledriver - 3 (ch E) Pulsar hits a spinning neck breaker! (Roll: 7, Target: 13)
I always played that there had to be a chance of missing, (i.e 11 being the max) I'm not sure that's an official rule or not though. I don't really like things automatically working myself.
Thoughts?

I think if that is the case, there is no reversal possible, if you play by the book.

I'd say 6 man tags and Survivor Series style elimination matches are a must. Also, in addition to the official tag option that Wildfire calls for, how about something to make the tag roll harder? A check box you can use when the guys teaming up are actually enemies, or one of the members of the team is reluctant.

And handicap matches. That would be good.

re: personalities
I always thought that whether a person leaves the ring, or tries a deathjump, or what Ch. they decide to do would depend on that wrestler's intelligence. Someone like Lord Nexus or Thantos or Omega or Endgame would always make right choice (the choice more likely to lead to victory), whereas Mutant or Doomsday Creature or Dark Star Creature would be completely random as to what they do. And then people like Renegade and Ram and Pit Viper would be somewhere in between those extremes. Perhaps Ring IQ would be a better term then intelligence was.
So... all of this COTG online/PbP Simulator stuff... Is this all going to work on my Mac. Or is this only for the PC people?

Or is this only for the PC people? The Stat Tracker should, by and large, be very Mac friendly, as long as your Mac isn't ancient.

Will the Simulator work on a Mac? I've been looking forward to something like that for a long, long, long time.
