I want to start getting CPC sets, but with $ short, I want get a few sets at a time. All I know of CPC is from the GWF Files and the catalog, so I have a few questions:
1. Does Daeman get an upgraded card? The GWF Files doesn't list a CPC card for him, but it mentions him in singles matches, and he has a new finisher and new art (and the new art doesn't mention that it's alternate card art).
2. In what year did Blizzard get his most recent card (the one he's using to dominate at the moment)?
3. Does Splatter's SE card have any stats or special rules or is it simply a picture and distractor rating?
4. Do any OFC (so far my favorite group just from reading about them) get any new wrestlers in 2116?
Thanks,
Jay

1. 2115. If the GWF Files doesn't list it, it must be a typo.
2. 2117.
3. It has a picture, distractor rating and match chart for the Arsenal match...think a Hardcore Lumberjack match.
4. No one new in 2116, no. But they starting changing up in 2117 on.

Thanks Tommy,
I want to bring some of the wrestlers into my UCW, which mixes the GWF and LOW, so I'm not following all the CPC storylines. The wrestlers that seem to fit what I want the most are Pendekar, Wildcat, Splatter, and Blizzard, so I'll probably end up getting 2113, 2115, and 2117, and Splatter's SE card unless it's pretty essential to get 2116.
Thanks again,
Jay

I just got the CPC sets (I ordered 2113, 2115, 2116, 2117) and they look great. I already see the possibilities in my new OFC team (Holocaust, Blizzard, Pendekar, Xenia, and possibly Daemon), and can't wait to pit Wildcat and Talon against the Hardy's. I also see some possibilities with vidtek, Brainstorm, Darla, and Mike Fortune. The rest I'll have to go through and decide where to put them (Mourn, Desdamona, and Willow are GWF-bound; Raze might follow).
Now I need to save $ again so I can get 2112 and 2114 with Schylock, Puma, Thayne, and Dar Gova.
Thanks again for the info, Tommy. It's much appreciated.

Oh, one question about Pendekar. It says you use the boldface pin rating when he's hit with a submission move or finisher and to add nothing to it. So if he had previous tokens already you ignore them? Does that mean all submission moves against him always automatically fail? Cool but just making sure,
Thanks,
Jay

Any level 3 submissions fail against him. if it is a submission finisher add the rating to his 4(1)

Thanks, Wildman. Much appreciated!
Here's a quick rundown on my thoughts for the CPC editions (2113,2115, 2116,2117, though I plan to get 2112 and 2114 when I get money again, eventually). I'll try to avoid spoilers as much as I can:
Overall my top 3 favorite stories are the Schylock/Saboteur story, the Thayne/Dar Gova story, and anything with Jack of Diamonds (wow, Mark wasn't kidding when he said he wanted to push this guy as the # 1 hero in the fed!).
2113:
Xenia-When m fiancee saw her, she said, "Wow, nice looking guy." I still don't think she's convinced. Oh well, I like her. She's tough and fits right in with the rest of the OFC.
Wildcat-Great pic and stats but shouldn't a flying huracarana to the floor be a roll finisher? It seems possible to miss with pretty painful results if he does. Then again, maybe that's just Mark's way of saying Wildcat is "that damn good!"
Mourn-GWF-bound in my fed, and I like that he and his teammates are faces. I've got some plans for him.
Mace/Dynamo-Never been a fan of these 2, at least not Mace after his first facelift years ago. Some guys you ending up loving, and some you just don't care for.
Pekhota-I like them. A Russian tag team. Looks like Hammer finally found his niche.
Sentinal-Pretty weak, but then again, he is a rookie so no biggie. For those getting the sets 1 at a time, keep an eye on this one.
2115:
Pendekar-The man! His strengths should definitely outweigh his weaknesses. I'm almost tempted to get 2119 to see his improvements, but I can wait.
Holocaust-I'm glad he's more of a grappler now, though I miss his old pic.
Brainstorm-Improved but miss his old pic too.
Viggo-Big man and a rookie but should be fun to play.
Darla-I guess beauty and brains do go together.
Talon-See Brainstorm.
Daeman-Love the new look, but wish he kept his lethal offense, maybe turn his old finisher into an add 1 move. Oh well still good.
Anhu-Deadly addition to all title pictures.
2116 (I'm just going to remark on those I liked the most, both for space and to hopefully avoid spoilers):
Splatter-Liked him better with his mask on. That's not saying his ugly, well...nevermind, just got used to him with it on. Did I miss his big intro on the team? I read where he joined, but didn't see why he came back and why he chose or was chosen for the OFC. He fits right in as the manager, but Schylock never seemed like the type to take orders. Now he has to from a psycho with a club.
Fata Morgana-Female Masked Assassin. About time!
Onami-Trent's right, this man does make Mourn look good. For now, he should have some good matches against Viggo.
2117:
Vidtek-Reminds me of Test, but in a good way. Got plans for this guy. I'm going to have him debut as a cameraman using his camera as a weapon.
Blizzard-I see why he's dominating the CPC. Great improvements that he definitely needed.
JJ Smooth-Like Trent said, every fed needs a guy people can point to and say they can at least beat Him. Mark's first jobber, but with an interesting personality (the big momma's boy).
Dante-When I saw the name, I thought he was another Brymstonian. Oh well, good stats and great pic.
Finally, I noticed that the CPC has less black and while and more gray areas, with a lot of neutral wrestlers. While I like the heroes vs. villains, I like this as well since it's something differen't Several feuds (especially Thayne and Dar Gova's), people can take one side or the other, and neither is really right or wrong. This definitelt helps the CPC stand out from the GWF (that and a lot more pure wrestlers). I still love the GWF, but the CPC is definitely a fresh change of pace.

I have another question, after looking through posts for the game. Who is Cypher? I know he is part of the OFC in 2119 but does he debut in 2118 or 2119? What kind of figher is he? Is he human/oid? Is he on par with the rest of the group? I'm just curious because I can always use another member of the OFC. Also if it's not a spoiler (at least to anyone else), who else debutes in 2118 and who gets upgraded (if anyone)?
Thanks,
Jay
P.S. Right now, Blizzard and Ahnu are my most dominant from 2113,2115, 2116, 2117. I really like Ahnu; I just wish his level 3 offense had one less -2 move.

Cypher is a shoot fighter and well known to Shylock. He's not exactly humanoid(depneding on your definition) and is either the 3rd or the 4th (He and Pendekar are about even). Oh and 2119.
