The Gladiators beat the Guardians, but Havoc was hurt in the post-match brawl (out for a long time) and they were stripped of the belts. The Guardians won the tournament to determine the new champs. How do I handle the stripping/vacating so it shows up in the lineage?

You could say until the next team wins a tournament or whatever that the Gladiators are still champions. So like:
Card 01: Guardians (won tournament)
Card 12: Havoc & Paralyze (defeated Guardians at Galactimania)
Card 32: Genesis (won vacant title in tournament last defeating Guardians)

How do I handle the stripping/vacating so it shows up in the lineage? One of your options when assigning a title change to a segment is to choose "VACANT" as the new champion rather than choosing a wrestler. Just do that and the title will be vacated. This means that you've got to have either a match or a non-wrestling segment to attach it to, but that's the only requirement. |
