questions about 2112 and 2113

I just ordered 2112 and 2113. Who is new in 2112 and does the book fill in the gaps of those 3 years and are there any impact players in either of those sets. I appreciate the help and I can't wait to advance on in the cpc storyline as I'm having more fun starting this than I was with new beginnings
