Important URLsSign up: www.cotgonlinebeta.comLog in: www.cotgonlinebeta.com/login.phpStatus UpdateI'm back, I've got everything uploaded to the site, and I've tested it pretty thoroughly in single player. Kris wants to make sure he gets one last eyeball on it before we start the Stress Test. He'll get home around 6 PM Eastern, we'll go over it, and as long as it passes all of its tests it will go live shortly thereafter. System RequirementsSingle Player: Firefox 2.0+/IE 6.0+ Multi Player: IE 6.0+ All versions: Java Runtime Environment and Adobe Flash Player browser add-ons. To Get Java - Go to www.java.com/en/ and then click on the big, green "FREE JAVA DOWNLOAD" button. Can't miss it. To Get Adobe Flash Player - Go to www.adobe.com/ and click on the "Get ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" button. It's not big or green, but you should still find it easy enough. What About Bugs? This is not the final version, but it's pretty close. This means you might find some bugs. If you do, post them in "The Stress Test Thread," and not anywhere else, so I'm guaranteed to see them. Thank you.

The original plan had been to run the Stress Test until Friday, and then shut down for the server move on Friday to launch on Monday. Because of some hassles with the domain name and getting the kind of control we need over it, that's not going to happen on Friday. Our best estimate right now is that we'll get the control we need over it sometime in the first half of next week.
So, we're extending the Stress Test to last through G-Con weekend and potentially even into next week depending on how long it takes to get what we need. So those of you who won't be going to G-Con will still get to fiddle around with with the Game Table over the weekend.
The second thing that this lets me do is hold off on the multi-player. With the way everything was currently timed, I was going to have to turn on the multi-player to run while I was gone and didn't have any access to the server, something I was only doing because I didn't have a choice. Now that I have a choice (and considering the port issues I've seen already), I'm holding off on the multi-player until I get back from G-Con.
So as of right now, expect the Stress Test to run at least through Monday night, possibly all the way through Tuesday or Wednesday. Then, assuming that everything passes and works well, expect the product to launch a few days after the Stress Test ends.
Thanks again for the help, and enjoy the extra time with the Stress Test!

I've added four new guys this morning - American Guy, US Male, Havoc, and Paralyze. This will let you test out some proper tag team matches while you wait for me to get home and get the multi-player component prepped and ready.

Both COTGonline.com and COTGonlinebeta.com are currently down while we move everything over to our production server in preparation for Wednesday's launch. As of right now, because we haven't had adequate time to test the multi-player component of COTGonline, we will be launching everything but that - the Game Table will still go up in single-player form, and you'll get access to all of the GWF Digital Sets if you ordered them. We should have multi-player up and ironed out within a week, and your subscriptions won't start rolling until then.
In addition, we'll be implementing COTGonline Free accounts. They will basically give you the same limited access that you had during the beta test. You'll get to play the Game Table with Bloodline and Encubus to try it out, and until we roll the multi-player out to the subscribers, you'll get to play multi-player, too. You'll also be able to view other people's federations with these COTGonline Free accounts, so everyone will be able to view other people's feds without a subscription.
The current ETA for everything coming back up is Wednesday evening. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for your continued support of COTGonline!
