Yah, they are waaaay cool! I love the format! Very very cool idea, as I am a big NHB fan. As always, I am interested to hear ideas to improve on the format, so as to make it more "real".
Anyone else use this match style? Thoughts?
PS: Kudos to Tom and Mark for giving two of my favorite 2119 characters( Valour and Cypher) a triangle choke!

Put them in a Cage and you can change the name from OFC to UFC ;D I like the format, reminds me of MMA matches. I love how the OFC guys and gals are almost pure wrestlers.

Hold on Joe, wildman said almost. However, I wouldn't classify them as pure wrestlers, more like puroresu (mixing submissions moves with striking blows)

Well I did also say MMA(mixed martial arts). Shylock is the only one like that. thanks to new cards for the Dominator and Pendekar. The women, including Serpentine, are more wrestlers than brawlers.

The OFC Rules are good, so far Shylock has won the OFC Fight Club Championship and one successfull title defense.
I hope we'll see more added to the OFC Roster, it makes things different from the GWF and the CPC.

Funny aside from the match's creator:
I've only done two OFC style matches so far, and the outcomes have been amusing. First, Cypher was kicking the heck out of Stigma (had him to 7 tokens while Cypher had 1), and then Stigma hit the STIGMATA and Cypher rolled a 2. Out!
Then, Fata Morgana squared off against Serpentine. FM nailed one of her level 3 moves (don't remember which), Serpentine had to roll PIN, and again, she rolled a 2. First attempt in the match, and she was gone, daddy, gone!
No champions yet for me. I'm seeing how the contenders shake out first and then I'm having a tourney. Anybody else having these kinds of experiences, though?

Where do the rules for OFC matches appear? I haven't caught up to the storylines in CPC in a while so I was wondering if it's in a set or online.
Thanks,
Jay

RULES 1)NO DQ OR COUNT OUTS 2)NO NON-OFC MEMBERS CAN COMPETE IN OFC-STYLE MATCHES OR FOR OFC TITLES, ALTHOUGH OFC AND NON-OFC WRESTLERS CAN COMPETE IN REGULAR MATCHES AT CPC SHOWS AND BATTLE FOR ANY BELTS. 3)IGNORE THE (LV) OPTION, AS ANY FIGHTER THAT LEAVES THE RING VOLUNTARILY DURING A MATCH WILL LOSE BY FORFEIT. 4)WHEN ROLLING "OUT OF THE RING," ROLL 2 DICE. IF THE ROLL EITHER CONTAINS ONE DIE THAT IS A 6 OR IS ANY COMBINATION OF 6 (1 AND 5, 2 AND 4, 3 AND 3), THE WRESTLER ON DEFENSE COUNTERS THE MOVE BY THE WRESTLER ON OFFENSE (USE YOUR IMAGINATION FOR THE DETAILS!) AND ROLLS ON LEVEL 3 OFFENSE. ON ALL OTHER ROLLS, SUBSTITUTE AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL 3 MOVE FOR THAT WRESTLER ( FOR INSTANCE, SHYLOCK MIGHT USE "HEART PUNCH-3", PENDEKAR "URANAGE-3", SERPENTINE "VICIOUS FACE CLAW-3" AND SO ON. AGAIN, IT'S UP TO YOU! 5)IF A MOVE ON A WRESTLERS CARD INVOLVES LEAVING THE RING (E.G., "RAM INTO RINGPOST-3"), SUBSTITUTE A MOVE AT THE SAME POTENCY (LEVEL 1, 2, OR 3) AS IN RULE #4 THAT DOESNT INVOLVE LEAVING THE RING. 6)ONLY ROLL PINS AS DESCRIBED IN RULE #7 7)THE MATCH ENDS IN ONE OF TWO WAYS. A) IF, WHEN ROLLING FOR A PIN, THE ROLL IS EITHER 2 OR 12, THE WRESTLER ON DEFENSE HAS BEEN KNOCKED OUT OR OTHERWISE INCAPACITATED AND LOSES. FOR ALL OTHER ROLLS, JUST ADD ONE TOKEN, EVEN IF THE ROLL IS AT OR LOWER THAN THE CURRENT PIN LEVEL (E.G., YOU ROLL A 6 WHEN THE WRESTLER IS AT 7 FATIGUE TOKENS). B) IF THE WRESTLER REACHES 10 TOKENS, HE IS UNABLE TO CONTINUE THE MATCH AND IS DECLARED THE LOSER.

FROM THE RULES, I LOOK AT LIKE THE ONLY WAY TO WIN IS TO KNOCK YOUR OPPONENT OUT OR MAKE HIM SUBMIT.

Cool, Thanks Wildman. I was thinking of getting a mix of CPC sets just so I can have the outlaw fight club. They sound like a pretty cool team. Thanks again,
Jay

I do have a couple of questions though:
1. What happens to finishers or add 1 moves that take place out of the ring? Do you just replace them with a move of the same rating? For now I replaced them with weaker moves; add 1 moves become -3 moves and finishers are (0) finishers, though I might make them add 1 moves. This gives the advantage to those who do keep the fight in the ring over the hardcore wrestlers.
2. So a roll of 12 if a tap/knock out just like a 2? I used to rule that a roll of 12 on finishers was a counter so I might change that.
I decided to modify the match by putting it in a cage, similar to the cage that Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart fought in at Summerslam 1994. To do this I just made rule 4 aplly to all chart moves (ropes, deathjump, etc). It makes the match a lot quicker and flow much better. Yes it also means a wrestler on level 1 offense can suddenly hit a -3 move if he rolls ropes. I tried it with some of my homemade UFC-style fighters and it works rather well.
Thanks,
Jay

WELL, NONE OF THE OFC FIGHTERS FINISHERS OR ADD 1 MOVES(CYPHER AND BLIZZARD ARE THE ONLY ONES WITH ADD 1 MOVES) REQUIRE THEM TO LEAVE THE RING. ;D

Okay I just received CPC 2119 so now the OFC Titles will be decided. I do have a question for Mark or anyone who knows. I allowed 2 non OFC members to compete for the titles Ahnu and maybe Quetzal (he caused a lot of damage to the OFC at a recent event). My question is, in Quetzal's case, do I reroll on level 3 offense as usual when rolling either of his tag finishers or should I treat them as (0) singles finishers?
Thanks,
Jay
