'Cause I got bored with a few minutes before dinner, and not everyone's necessarily reading everything floating around here.
What is 1.10?
The first major update to the COTGonline software.
Thanks, wiseguy. So what's in it?
Lots of things. Here's a short list:
* Brand new rankings - you want Cruiserweight rankings, you've got it. Cage rankings and Women's rankings? No sweat.
* A better navigation menu to make getting around a little easier.
* A smoother integration between the Simulator and Stat Tracker
* Simulate a match 1,000 times! Why, you ask? Why not?
* The groundwork for the Game Table will be put in place.
* Lots of things from the suggestions thread. I've marked things that I know I'll be getting in, and I might squeeze some others in, too. You might also see one or two that haven't been suggested yet.
* Bunches of stuff you won't ever notice.
When do we get it?
The 25th of June.

How much?
This (and every other content update) will be provided to every COTGonline subscriber at no extra charge.

When you say "cage" ratings, how's that gonna work? Right now, you've probably noticed the "Match Tags" section for each match. You can put different textual tags in there like cage, cruiser, or whatever, to denote that the match fit certain criteria. Then you'll be able to pull up a custom ranking that only takes matches that have a specific tag into account. So, if you mark your cage matches with the cage tag, then you'll be able to go to the rankings page and specify that you only want to see the rankings calculated for matches with "cage" in the tags. Now, I've been using those common examples, like cage, women's, cruiser, etc., but you can do this with anything. Ladder, midget, six-man, short, whatever ... |

That's the plan. There's still a lot of time left in today, though. If I push the update back, it would only be by a day, and I'll warn y'all well ahead of time. As it stands right now, though, I still plan on getting it out today. |
