I don't think that this has been requested (sorry if it has) and I understand if it's a "down the road" type thing. But it'd be cool if you could create a custom list of wrestlers or teams from a roster and click a button and it would randomly seed matches using those wrestlers or teams for tournaments. Perhaps you could have an option to seed them randomly or the highest ranked vs. the lowest ranked, etc. Just a thought. An Automatic Tournament Creation Thingy™.
I just bring this up because I'm entering my #1 Contender part of my year where I hold a ton of tournaments and I always "seed" them by writing down everyone's name, cutting up the paper and randomly drawing them out of a hat (or mug). Doing it online would be more ENVIRONMENTALLY FREINDLY! Just thing of the trees you could save! Come on BDS, Do it for EARTH!

i know that....but what i was talking about was a "list" of champions....not every title match (though, that is very cool too)

i think my only real complaint about the stat tracker....lack of control of tag teams once they are put in....especically unofficial tag teams.
I have my EC fed going, and have put in all the results and wrestlers for my current year. Defiance has split up due to Jammer leaving in 2076 (I am in 2076 right now). When I do the tag team rankings, Defiance still shows up, even though, 1/2 of them are totally gone. This is due, I believe, to the fact that Blood is still in the fed.
BDS EDIT: Still in discussion
I noticed that when I took Blacklash and Bullwhip (Dorado Sundown), both of them, out of the roster, their tag team wasn't listed. But, the tag team of Omega and Morpheus (Guardians). They have split up now officially.....but, their tag team remains.
I think, when we can delete a wrestler from the roster, we should be able to delete tag teams also. Maybe this is impossible to do....but it would help with keeping a fed's tag team division organized.
BDS EDIT: Added in 1.23
Maybe the only way to do this would be to re do the roster every year? Not sure....
One other thing....we should be able to link a roster to a fed. I have my GWF Historical fed roster (the roster for 2076 right now). But when I go to add a match, I have to make sure that the correct roster is assigned. Possibly letting us link a particular roster to a fed, where only that roster would be allowed....

Thanks

@ Chris: I THINK (too lazy to scroll back) that BDS has already commented on this, and after a brief discussion (Grant brought it up) it was suggested a check box to all a team to not be rated was put 'on the list'... I think that would actually be ideal for what you're talking about, so that when Jammer comes back, it would be nice and easy

actaully....yes....that would be.
But, I was also thinking....that perhaps making a roster every "year"....would also help....maybe....not sure if the made up tag teams would follow along into the new roster....

I'm not sure about that... I decided I wan't going to add in my EC stuff until they guys were in the system, so I haven't messed with the custom roster stuff at all.. except a bit in testing.

Ok, here's my 2 cents: What about a "records" page. I keep track of things like longest win streak, longest losing streak, longest held title (by date and by fight cards). I just purchased the year subscription to the stat tracker, so it'd be nice if I could get rid of my (virtual) notebook and have everything in the stat tracker (kind of the whole point of the tracker, right?)

oh, and I also REALLY like the idea of being able to list fight cards by number rather than date. I don't assign dates for my fed, just fight card numbers, so that would be great I think.

I was thinking about this on the way back. It'd be cool if we could NAME the Non Wrestling Segment so in our results it doesn't say NON WRESTLING SEGMENT, but the name of the segment like: After The Match or Show Opening or Backstage...etc. Just a thought.

I think this is my first suggestion and BDS wanted it in here to remind him for later.
If I set the working dates of a fed, why when I create a card do I have to click through all the possible years and dates they have in the system? That's the first thing I tried to do and just seems like added work to enter information. I guess this way all dates are always open but why the need to set working dates for a fed then? If a date is attached to every card you play the rankings or whatever should see that then. Just trying to figure everything out, thanks for your help. Ty

I'm going to go through and update this and the bug fixes thread for the first time in ages tomorrow, so y'all will have a good idea of where we stand on everything after that.

Just got a chance to login for real for the first time and all looks great. My head is still spinning, so I'll probably think of things later, but my only thought right now is about the special matches - I use the table match, ladder match, Circinus Cell, etc quite reguarly but the special matches only have the basic (older) ones. Will there be an update with the new matches or will we have to somehow buy that separately? Thanks.

Eventually, EVERY OFFICIAL COTG SPECIAL MATCH will be in the game...we'll probably be adding some Promoter made ones as well.
The reason some of the ones you mentioned weren't put in right away is because they require charts.
Again, they'll be in there soon.

Is there anyway to not count the ladies in the rankings?
BDS EDIT: Implemented in 1.21
Or add a Tag To Ignore field in the ranking search screen so we can tag the ladies matches with "women" or 'ladies" and then omit those in the rankings?
BDS EDIT: Not yet implemented
Or just a separate ranking scheme altogether?

So if I play Kill Prey NB and he goes, say, 10-1 that year...then later on I get the 2115 sets and I play Kill Prey and he goes, say, 1-10...does that mean when I check records at the end of 2119 his record switches to 11-11?

If you're doing it all in the same fed, then yes, because it's all part of one history for that fed. The system will only show you a record for the working dates that you set, so you'd have to have them set to cover that whole span, but that is correct.
