I guess this one was a bit of a shocker for most promoters, because I didn't see his name come up once as a possible GWF to CPC guy. I don't know much about him, as I'm still waaaaaay back in 2090...(he's Lord Nexus' son right?)...but this has got to be a pretty big coup for the CPC. Are the CPC fans happy? Raven getting a hardy beat down and a pink slip was another surprise. Being a CPC legend of sorts, I can't believe that this is the last we've seen of him... Wildcat + Puma DNA = Puma? Nice...but is this really the end of Wildcat? You've got to think that this story is far from being over... How does the CPC now stack up against the GWF. From what I've read so far, it seems a lot of CPC fans are excited at the prospects for their favorite 'little fed that could'. The GWF may still have some very big stars, but with a similar size roster, I think the GWF/CPC war is as close as its been since the dawn of the CPC. Any thoughts? EDIT by Chris: Gave thread a new, spoiler-free subject (and included warning). Removed post apologizing for not doing so originally.

It's the last we've seen of Raven. Mark doesn't want to downgrade him, so he figured this was the best way to get rid of him. Scion Nexus is a great pick up for the CPC. Wildcat should be back sooner or later. I think both will do great this year.

Feh. I would love to see Raven get revenge, even as a non-wrestler. The CPC is getting to be a depressing place to be, since everyone gets hosed before they quit or get fired...=)
That said, Raven and Colossus both being gone was a given from Mark's Promoter preview, so I can't say as I was shocked.

I thought Mark left the door open for Ravens return. With the portals now closed, it looks like the economy may be back on the repound and Raven, after his injuries heal, may be back with a paycut. For some reason, the art in this set left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The Dominator looks nothing like his original card. Ditto with Pendekar. I think the war will last two more years and in 2021, Viggo, Thayne and the others will be back. Thayne and Dar Gova will be big stars. However, I believe Ahnu has the biggest potential. I still believe Exo-King has Alzhimer's. I really hope we get to hear about some CPC guys that left as well. Why did Death's Head and Erebus just retire? That doesnt sound like Brymstonians. I do hope we get a Talisman manager card with a great backing.

Why did Death's Head and Erebus (and Mourn) just retire?
'Cuz they had to to make the CPC roster not seem bloated compared to the GWF, at least in part. I was actually going to give Erebus a one-year singles run with just DH retiring, but I had to change all that midstream. Ah, well. They'd have been gone by 2120 anyway.
