Will we be able to schedule recurring events, such as a TV show every Monday night or whatever, with a name that will automatically come up every Monday? Will there be distinctions between house shows, tv shows, and PPV's?

Will we be able to schedule recurring events, such as a TV show every Monday night or whatever, with a name that will automatically come up every Monday? Not a bad idea, but that's not quite how I built the Tracker. I'd implement before we launched if it would fit in seamlessly, but it just wouldn't. There's nothing stopping you from running a show every Monday called "aCe War Zone" every week, but the system isn't going to do that automatically. Will there be distinctions between house shows, tv shows, and PPV's? You can denote them as being different, but the system won't treat them any differently. HOWEVER ... each match will have a prestige rating (Low, Medium, High, and Epic) that will affect rankings and such. The championship committees will view high prestige matches differently than low prestige matches.

fair enough, will there be a calender or some sort that denotes what day and year I am in? what role does this "championship committee" play?

Does that mean that the Stat Tracker will rate our wrestlers in our fed for us? If so, how does that work? I'd be really interested in that (I spend most of my time reranking wrestlers after every show and I still haven't "perfected" a fair way to reward winners and punish losers) Anyone else have a good way to base their rankings? I hate punishing people who lose by DQ, but it's still a loss, right? Will the stat tracker deal with DQ's differently? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm a stat/rankings guy.

fair enough, will there be a calender or some sort that denotes what day and year I am in? No, because it doesn't *force* you to be in a specific day or year. You can enter a card from 2121, and then immediately after enter a card from 2087. The only place that date matters is when viewing statistics, in which you define a date range that the tracker works within: show only stats from Jan 1st, 2119 to Dec 31st, 2120 ... that sort of thing. By the way, I recommend this tool for getting calendars for the COTG years. Makes figuring out what date your TV shows fall on easy. Does that mean that the Stat Tracker will rate our wrestlers in our fed for us? Yes. what role does this "championship committee" play? Does that mean that the Stat Tracker will rate our wrestlers in our fed for us? If so, how does that work? There's a ranking formula that the Stat Tracker uses, that takes several things into account like wins and losses, title matches, match age, match quality (a "good" loss), match prestige, and so on. For each fed that you have, you'll establish a Championship Committee based on personalities that we have available in the system. For starting with the aCe, for example, you'll be able to comprise your Committee of any combination of Murdok, Nicodemus, General Rankor, Aegis, the producers of the Nemean Show, and the sportswriters from the Centra Prime Media Network. If you choose just one of the personalities, then they'll make all of the decisions, and they'll be dramatically different. Nicodemus is going to have different opinions about what makes a good wrestler than Murdok does. Or you can have a multi-man committee do your rankings, say Nicky and Murdok, and the two will coexist and find a happy medium between their preferences in doing your rankings. You'll also have a final option of having your rankings done by computer, as well. This basically gives you the ability to weight all of the influencing factors as you choose to design your own custom ranking formula. Will the stat tracker deal with DQ's differently? You betcha. So will the different personalities for the Committee, too.

ok cool, that seems simple enough. the committee system sounds pretty f'ing sweet. I assume the personalities will be different for different COTG eras?

Yeah, as we add in new eras, we'll add in new personalities appropriate to that fed and era.

Will launch have any GWF personalities? Being a GWF fed, that is naturally my focus.

Likely not ... we probably won't release any of them until the New Beginning set, but that shouldn't come too far behind launch. However, if you want to pretend that Aegis is Omega and Murdok is Thantos, I'm not going to tell anyone.

I must say I think the championship committee thing sounds like one of the coolest things I've heard of in a simulator.
