I'm running my fed from two different points in time (2090 and 2120) so that i can build up my feds history while still playing relatively close behind. Will I be able to continue to run my fed in this manner on COTGOnline?

Yes, once the Classic Period (staring with 2087) is released Online. New Beginnings will come first, then 2087 to 2090 and the rest of the sets after that. You can still use the Stat Tracker for the 2090 fed before the sets are released to keep track of results, you just won't be able to play online until then.
Hope that helps.

I was hoping that Early Classics and the other pre-2087 classics sets would also be available soon ... because I really, really, really was hoping to be able to use COTGonline as a way to help me build my feds history, while I also join the current storylines. But if the Classics sets aren't available I won't be able to do this.

The Early Classics time period has been discussed and is not out of the question at all. It very well could be released around the time of 2087, but a final decision has not been made to that effect. For right now, look forward to aCe and GWF New Beginnings in the near term.

Will I be able to continue to run my fed in this manner on COTGOnline? You're going to have the ability to run as many different feds as you'd like with the Stat Tracker, and their results will all be kept separate. Also, thanks to your post I'll build in the ability to combine two "feds," so in your case you'll be able to merge those two into one big uberfed once your history finally catches up. When we launch, we're just going to have the wrestlers from the aCe Trilogy available in the Stat Tracker. You WILL be able to enter any wrestlers you want for your own use, however. This was intended for bootlegs, but for people who want to get started with say 2087 before we release it, you can just plug in the names from the 2087 set and start tracking that way. You'll lose some functionality that way, because there are going to be some things that you can do with the "official" guys that you can't do with guys you enter by hand, be they bootlegs or wrestlers we just haven't released yet. But for people who want to dive into their favorite feds and eras without waiting for us to get to them, that option is there for you. The kind of functionality you'll lose is like this: you've got Renegade in 2087, and if you wanted to start with 2087 before we release the sets you could just enter his name in along with everyone else and away you go. But when he becomes Cannibal, you won't have a way to make that change - you'll either have to leave his name as Renegade in the software or create a new "wrestler" entry for Cannibal. With the official sets, the software will recognize that Renegade and Cannibal are the same person, and you'll be able to see a constant stream of results and stats containing matches for both personas. You also won't get access to all of the extra goodies for your guys in the Gallery, either. So you could plug in Thantos's name, but you're not going to be able to look at him in the gallery, read the Files, check out the art and stats, and so on until his official release. One other thing to note is that if you create a "bootleg" version of an official wrestler, like in our Renegade example above, you won't be able to swap those stats over to the official version. So when we finally release 2087, if you want to use the official cards for tracking your stats, you'll have to enter all of the data again. So, there's all the positives and negatives of jumping right into using the sets we haven't released yet. If y'all have any more questions on this (or any other topic), fire away with them, and I'll answer them as in-depth as I can. The Stat Tracker is virtually complete at this point (there's only one major feature left for me to finish), so my answers should be pretty accurate at this point.

Did I read that right, we'll have a "bootleg" option at launch?

Sure seems like there's going to have to be an awful lot of data entry for this.

Did I read that right, we'll have a "bootleg" option at launch? For recoring stats, absolutely. For playing on the Game Table (when it launches), not so much.

Sure seems like there's going to have to be an awful lot of data entry for this. The Stat Tracker is pretty much a data manipulation program, so there's no getting around it for the Tracker. If you want your fed's history in the Tracker to use it's features, you've got to enter the data. For the feds that have been officially released, all of the wrestlers will be pre-loaded into the system, so you'll only need to enter wrestler names for bootlegs or feds we haven't released yet. The gallery in the Stat Tracker comes pre-populated with the stats for all of the wrestlers, though, along with their art, Files info, and anything else you might need for them. You can buy the launch package, and then sit down with the gallery to read though it and look at all of the fantastic new art. The same thing will apply with the Game Table when it's released, too - there won't be any data entry needed to sit down and play

I just meant for the official guys, I understand you'll have to load in the info from our feds history, but then every time a guy changes his name, you have to reenter it all over again. Seems like there should be a way to simply change a person's name in the stat tracker. Would that really be that hard to have an "edit" button on the "bootleg" stat area?

Would that really be that hard to have an "edit" button on the "bootleg" stat area? No, no it wouldn't. In fact, there's going to be an "edit name" feature in there for the custom wrestlers - there really has to be from a usability standpoint. However ... your Renegade vs. Vanity match from 2087 will retroactively become a Cannibal vs. Vanity match in your fed's history, because in the eyes of the database it's all just custom wrestler #327, no matter if his name is Renegade or Cannibal the Headhunter. So you'll have choices as to how you want to handle it: A.) Just continue to use Renegade, knowing that he became Cannibal. B.) Change his name to Cannibal, retroactively changing all of Renegade's old matches to Cannibal matches. C.) Wait for the official sets to come out for those eras, letting the Tracker understand that Cannibal and Renegade are one in the same.
