Just to vent, but I've been waiting for the CotG sets (1-7) and I have such an itch to start playing right now. I haven't played, read, or anything on CotG since the first Sudden Death era and now that I've decided to get back in, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT I have so much curosity on what happened to the guys from then? (Gladiators being the obvious favorites). It was hard for me to realize how long ago it's been (2x in GWF years) until I saw the pics on the Filsinger Games webpage that had the "real" wrestlers support CotG. I can't believe how old guys like Bobby Heenan, Jim Dugan, the Iron Sheik, etc. really are. (and those pics were old). Not much to say, but I'm glad to be (almost )back

It's always hard waiting. Don't worry, it will be there soon.

I should mention that the sets 1-7 I'm waiting for aren't through Filsinger Games, I'm buying those used, then I'll buy the rest through Filsinger Games. Didn't want to imply that FG was making me wait!

FINALLY!! The game has arrived (of course, inputting the cards into CotG Desktop takes longer than I thought it would. I hope it's worth it!
Oh, and in my first match in about 15 years...Thantos beat Star Warrior with the MASTERLOCK. Somethings never change!

Started with only the original GWF 2087, Wolf survived multiple finishers from Massif in the first round and came back to win it. Pit Viper had a surprising run to meet him in the finals which Wolf dominated to win the first championship. In the tag-team tourney, Greek Gods vs. Gladiators ended with the Gladiators victorious after a Brute Decapitator. Brawl breaks out with Brute getting hurt for 12 cards!!! and wouldn't you know it....Commish Carter goes soft and doesn't even give the Gods (with Wolf's help) any punishment for their role. What a start to the (reborn) fed!
