Hi, thanks for making a truely quality version of COTG a reality, all your work is very appreciatted and eagerly anticipated. I just thought I would put forward a suggestion or two however ridiculous they may sound. I was thinking about a way in which characters could collect points that would help their popularity/getting over ratings, this could be based on their rankings, the kind of matches they have had, if they hold a belt etc. This idea could work well in conjunction with promotions, for example if there was a full listing of various arenas and their capacities and one promotion was held on Titan in the Titan arena for example, by imputing data such as who is pitted against who, what kind of card it is (Pay per view, house etc.) and if there is any home grown talent in the main event or title match such as Lord Nexus the simulator could then generate a calculation of how many tickets are sold. It would be nice to have an optional business aspect to the game and it would be fun to have things like ratings especially if promoters decide to have 2 feds pitting against each other like the WWE - WCW days with the option of talent jumping from one fed to the other. I know that a lot of promoters like total control, however having an option where the computer throws out ideas to help storylines is something that would help those who are tight on time or a bit creatively challenged. I hope that I've managed to explain my idea with some basic clarity and I hope that those ideas will be considered. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for making a truely quality version of COTG a reality, all your work is very appreciatted and eagerly anticipated. Thanks, man. Very kind words there. I just thought I would put forward a suggestion or two however ridiculous they may sound. Please. No such thing as silly suggestions here. Well, maybe there are...but I read ahead and yours are solid. OK, so what we're talking about here is a popularity "Ratings" system and in turn a feature which calculates attendence for a particular arena (based on the popularity "Ratings"). First, the Popularity Rating or Heat Rating or whatever it ends up being called is a great concept. While Larry is designing the Stat Tracker, I'm pretty sure he's said that anything is really possible. This seems like one of those things. We'll look into it. Now, for the Attendance Calculator. Yes, I absolutely 100% see this as a feature which is implemented sometime after launch. The reason it would have to wait is because as of now, while we have custom background pictures of different famous arenas throughout the COTG universe, and you have the ability to enter an arena name (or any location) while Stat Tracking card results, the arena list isn't a loaded fixture of any sort. I assume the best way for the Attendance Calculator to function is for it to be able to attach the Date and # in Attendance to the particular official arenas name. That way, Stats could be Tracked, and viewed, and sorted, and displayed just like everything else (characters, title belts, etc) are. ~ :-Xsk

I just came up with another idea, once again it might be looked apon as useless but I'll post it none the less as I think that it might add something extra to the game. Now that we have the ability to have stats tracked, with win, loss, title history etc. how about having a segment for hall of fame inductees of outstanding retired wrestlers. There could be a picture of the wrestler with his/her win loss record along with title reigns and maybe awards such as wrestler of the year, involved in match of the year, top heel, top face etc. There could even be a system which by each match a wrestler enters he gets judged on how well he performed, how over he is etc. and if there is a consistent high score throughout his career you could have a system calculating statiscally, who is the best wrestler of all time.

Kris and I discussed something like this early on in development. There is *definitely* going to be something along these lines present in COTGonline.
