ok....I have some house rules I use in my feds like:
1. In Title Matches, the challenger's DQ rating will be lowered by 2. Also, in tournaments, the wrestlers DQ rating will be lowered by 2. For "Scientific Matches", both wrestlers DQ ratings will be lowered by 2. This simulates the wrestlers taking extra caution to not get DQ'd in these situations.
2. All cage matches. To win any cage match, a wrestler must first pin his opponent. Then, after he is able to pin his opponent, at any time he can try to escape the cage to win the match.
3. In Title Matches, to beat the Champion (including Non-Title Matches), the Champion has to roll his PIN/CAGE twice.
4. There will be (within my own reasoning) an unlimited number of: Double Teams, Pin Saves, Manager interference & distractions. I will use this to fit the situation. But, I never "over do it". Also, the OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE charts (Manager, Wrestler, & Gang) will still only be used once per match. Managers CARDS (Thantos, Strutter) can be used multiple times in a match.
5. A PIN roll of "12" is an automatic kickout, no matter how many tokens the pinned wrestler has.
Will it be possible to "modify" the game to use house rules?

Mino,
The Simulator portion of COTGonline is based on the CotG Desktop program.
Now when we call it a "simulator," or "Sim" we don't mean that it's going to simulate your COTG matches for you. We mean that it's going to "simulate" the COTG experience in your web browser. You're going to have virtual cards, virtual charts, and virtual dice. But you'll still play the game the same way you always have. You'll roll dice, read the cards to see what happened, and consult the charts.
COTGonline's simulator, at its core, is a proxy for the cards. So anything you could do with paper and dice you can do with COTGonline. Even with things like homemade charts and bootlegs, which probably won't be in the first release of COTGonline, can easily be encorporated into your game. Just set them next to your monitor and away you go.
The COTGonline Simulator is meant to enhance the COTG experience that you've always known and loved, not to replace it with a new, lesser experience by pigeon holing you into playing "our way." Rest assured that our goal with everything that's a part of COTGonline, be it in the Simulator, the website, the Stat Tracker, or any community events we might run, are designed to add to your experience and integrate as smoothly as possible with what you've been doing for years.

Kris,
Speaking of "simulation", are there any plans to give someone the ability to simulate a card instead of running it in the traditional manner? I figure that there might be someone out there who wants to "catch up" without playing every match. Is this possible/ on the radar screen? Or is this completely out of scope for the foreseeable future?
