[glow=blue,2,300] COTGonline update 1-22-07 [/glow] A NEW Character Profile is on display. A NEW News Item and a NEW * Story of... have been added. *The story item was actually written and posted several months ago on the boards as the "Epilogue" to the aCe Board Tourney. Since it featured some nice hints for aCe 2121:Ultimatum and some people might not have seen it, I stuck it Online. I loved it when Tom started tweaking with border around the characters (Brute was the first i think) and then started adding background as well. the ability to colorize and put each character in that background adds a dimension that is just incredible.
Not only does Osk's writing bring a visual nature to a.C.e., these color cards are really bringing it to life!

Uh, yeah, I guess...Like Raiden except he's not a thunder god, he's not asian, and he doesn't have anything to do with electricity. Actually, he has nothing to do with Raiden...other than the style of hat. And even THAT is stretching it. ~  |

Kris you seem a little defensive on the comparisons this morning I think that both characters are absolutely tremendous, and I really like your point that neither person is "good or bad", but rather that the world we live in creates much of who and what we become, and how we interact with that environment. I think this story (won't know 'til the book comes out) could be very timely for the events that are occurring around the world today. Great work as always, I hope my joke did not offend. |

Nah, not offended at all, brutha. I think you make a fantastic point about The Others story being reflective of todays (or really any "timelines" ) events. These guys are going to get a lot of respect from the other folks on the aCe roster. They're gonna basically "tell it like it is" and the people around them have to take what their saying into consideration and act accordingly. Plus, the things they're talking about are coming to be and creating massive amounts of chaos in an already unstable Dimension. Act now or it's all going down, basically. Oh, and Todd is the man, he knows that. But I gots to have my aCe boys back before all else! ~ :-Xsk |
