I would buy the cards. Then you have both if for when you want them. I think you have to buy the cards to play them online anyways? That is exactly why I am asking..I was planning on Storming the Ace and purchasing all the cards from Fed HQ...but if all the aCe versions will be online then should I wait to make that purchase and print them out myself? As I understand it right now, only the digital-only sets (eg. aCe 2121) will have the printable download. Which means if you buy the aCe Trilogy for COTGonline, you'll only be able to have physical cards of aCe 2121. If you wanted cardstock versions of 2119 and 2120, you'll still get them after COTGonline's release the same way you get them now. So if you want cardstock versions of everything, buy Storm the aCe now.

Will the Trilogy pack contain just the 2119-2121 characters, or will the LEs and the guys from the Collector's Pack also be available? The aCe Trilogy pack will have EVERY ACTIVE CHARACTER included. So, for example, you would get BOTH Ventross 2110 as well as the Ventross SE card. ~ :-Xsk

I'm really looking forward to this new venture for COTG. I' don't have alot of time to pull ot the sets and everything much anymore and was looking to buy the sets over again anyway come Feb.
I'm going to wait to see where this goes now though and see what the price point is going to be.

COTGonline will allow smaller sets like aCe and CPC, which wouldn't have continued in a print format because they weren't profitable, to continue in the all-digital format. Personally, I'd much rather have aCe continue as an all-digital set than just vanish entirely. Plus, the all-digital sets (which will only be the smaller feds) will have printable downloads for the cards, so you'll be able to make paper cards to play with very, very easily. Other benefits for people who don't want to use the simulator to play out their matches include the enhanced record keeping capability of the Stat Tracker, the peeks at the reinvisioned characters through the colored art, and the ability to get online and play against their fellow promoters from all around the world. So nobody's trying to give you the bird. Except for the feds that weren't going to continue otherwise, everything will continue to come out on paper, just like it always has. COTGonline's not going to take away from the game as it exists now - it's going to add more options and hopefully open up the door for an entirely new playerbase to enjoy this wonderful game we've all cherished for so long.
