With both fighters coming off big wins (Horn over Yoshida, Vochanchyn KOing Rampage) the stage was set for and opportunity to climb the ranks...
Jeremy Horn vs Igor Vochanchyn
Round 1
After exchanging light jabs Igor initiates the clinch looking to strike. Horn slips out landing a short uppercut on the way out. As Igor backs off Horn locks on a clinch of his own. Igor shoves him off and lands a grazing blow. Horn Immediately shoots in and tumbles Igor the mat. From there Horn dominates landing short punches from the Russians guard and a seemingly endless string of submission attempts. Just as the final seconds ticked away, Igor stalls and forces a stand up.
10-8 Horn
Round 2
Horn presses the action with a tentative Igor looking to defend the takedown. Horn leads in with strikes and Igor defends well. As Igor back pedals Horn shoots in but Igor sprawls and lands a knee to Horns chest. Seeing his chance Igor unleashes a blistering combo. The elusive Horn bobs and weaves and lands a counter shot before circling out. Horn shoots in again but is denied. Seeming to gain confidence Igor throws a high kick but is lifted and slammed to the mat by a beautiful double leg. Surprisingly Igor remains unfazed and launches Horn off of him with his powerful legs and returns to his feet. Igor swings wild yet again letting loose a wild hook that sails over Horn’s head. Horn shoots in with an ankle pick and whips the Russian to the mat. Igor clamps on and stalls until the ref stands them back up.

Round 3
Igor plows into Horn locking on with a clinch. As Horn struggles to break free Igor thuds away at his midsection with two short hooks. Horn manages to break free only to be swarmed with Igor’s flying fists. Horn defends and fires a short uppercut that Igor bats aside. Determined to get the KO Igor stalks Horn swinging away. Though Igor managed to connect here and there Horn’s slick defense holds true as he bobbed and weaved out of harms way. Then, as the minute warning sounded Igor launches a volley of punches. Horn covers up but is caught by a huge right hook that sends him flying into the ropes. Horn manages to recover but catches a body kick, left hook combo before he can retaliate. As the buzzer sounded Horn lets out a visible sigh of relief.

WINNER: JEREMY HORN/ ROUND 3/ DECISION
If Igor had landed one more blow it would've tied the match forcing an overtime round. So close Ice Cold...
