Not sure where to put this, but it involves my bootleg Feds so I put it here....And sorry for the long post....
I have a bit of a problem and was wondering if any of you guys or girls might have some sort of input:
My Bootleg fed the TXW is about to enter the 2120 "season" and I am going to introduce a TXW Teamwork Championship (The name of this is still being mulled over in my cobweb filled brain) and the problem I have is I'm not sure exactly how I want to have this work.
First thing is, I will explain how this particular fed is structured:
The TXW is set up with around 30 Male athletes and around 16 female athletes. There are three titles for the men and two for the women: TXW Extreme Champion (Matches are fought with no DQ and no count out and can also be in any type of special match), TXW Heritage Champion (Matches have DQs and count outs, with Title matches being 2 out of 3 falls or Iron Man rules with DQs and count outs are causes of the Title being lost), TXW Combat Champion (Matches are fought with OFC rules, only slightly modified to add submission wins, also certain types of special matches are allowed in this division), TXW Women's Extreme Champion (Same as men's) and TXW Women's Combat Champion (Same as men's) *A TXW Women's Heritage title is in the works, pending more women athletes*
Male Athletes are eligible for all male titles and Female athletes are eligible for all female titles, all the titles hold the same prestige (Although that of course varies from fan to fan and athlete to athlete), the Title can be held simultaneously, and if a Male (And later...Female) Athlete holds all three title, then it is called the TXW Triple Crown...however, the Champion must defend the title(s) on the nights he is scheduled to do so, even if it means he (or she) would have to fight three times (Which is what would make the Triple Crown Hard to keep, not to mention Prestigious, A Triple Crown Champ, would have to be well versed in Extreme Style wrestling, Classic Style wrestling and MMA Fighting). A Championship Committee is in place to make matches, rank Athletes, Award Title matches and hand out fines and suspensions...
Anyway...trying to get to the point...the way the roster is set up, is somewhat different as in there are not really feuds, so to speak, There are rivalries, and sometimes two people just don't get along (like Shamrock and Ortiz), but not really a hero and villain camp where the sides are even and everyone has someone they feud against and all of that. Instead there are camps, or teams, or training partners (I think you get the picture), Managers (Trainers) are still allowed and there are no limits on numbers and all of that. Athletes aren't even required to be part of a team (Not that that is smart).
Finally, my question: Since I have taken out tag teams, I want to have a team title of some kind and I am going to do it involving the different camps facing the other camps (Kind of like bragging rights for the teams), problem is, I'm not quite sure how to do it.
One way I was thinking about is requiring each team that would compete for this Title to have Three Males and two Females (at least) to field for the Team fight in this way:
Match one: A Women's Combat Match (Any kind) worth 1 point
Match two: A Women's Extreme Match (Any kind) Worth 2 points
Match three: A Men's Heritage Match (Any kind) Worth 3 points
Match four: A Men's Combat Match (Any kind) Worth 4 points
Match five: A Men's Extreme Match (Any kind) Worth 5 points
Then if needed An elimination tag match 5 on 5 with points awarded like this: Winning team gets 1 point for each survivor and 10 points for the win.
In case of a tie, the Champion Team (or if it is not a Title match, the team with the most points going into the Elimination Match, gets to choose a match and the participants for a sudden death match, with the winner getting one whole point.
Any input would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks everyone..........
