I was playing a match involving Willow . A thought struck my brain . As Willow came straight into the CPC (with never been in GWF) . Does Tom also pick the moves for the CPC wrestling cards like Willow or does he allow Mark to do it ? If either of you are reading this - could you explain to me please ?

I encourage Mark to write the CPC cards, after all he's the one who really knows the characters. I'll edit the cards for toughness, realism, little-known card rules, etc.

Tom is right in that I'm pretty much given a blank slate to start with and then he does the final tweaks or twists my ear to show me where I screwed up the rules. They always come out better on the other side. Honestly, designing the cards is my least favorite part of the whole process, although I love to come up with finisher ideas (Vidtek's EXTREME CLOSE-UP is still the top of that list!).

(Vidtek's EXTREME CLOSE-UP is still the top of that list!). Definitely one of the most creative finishers to date!

For EXTREME CLOSEUP Vidtek uses a small camera on his arm to tap into the Vidscreen, focuses it on his opponent and delivers a Clothesline that puts his opponents face right into the camera for everyone to see the look on their face when they get hit. It really is AWESOME. We need more like that Mark

Glad there are some other EXTREME CLOSEUP fans out there. I also like Dante's HEAVEN OR HELL? too, mainly the thumbs-up/thumbs-down portion of it. I can just see the crowd really getting into it. Makes the guy a real fan favorite, in my eyes.
Making unique finishers is a challenge. I haven't started coming up with the moves for the 2119 cards yet, so I can't say if I've got any more fun ones like that planned. I'll be racking my brains, though, because the right finisher can make the character stand out more than he otherwise would.

I definitely hope you can think of some more, Mark, as these unique finishers and twists make guys more interesting. (Pendekar being a major example)

Look how HELLFIRE changed the GWF and always made the Good Bishop a danger. Or Mayhem's LEAP OF DOOM. Even more, how about The MASTERLOCK. A great name for a great move, that just screamed this character is simple a bad s.o.b.! So sure take your time Mark.....
