Joe Stecher was a pioneering World Champion in the early 20th century.

Honor? Rude? I wouldn't count on it....

If I can find a good pic of him, I plan on doing a drawing of him soon.

I like a feud between the East West Connection and Flying RedHeads. Would be interesting. Good card Rob

Useless trivia: When the UWF held a card in Longview, Texas in June 1986, Carl Fergie was in charge of the ring crew, and I got to the arena early enough to help him put up the ring. He was pretty cool.

It's weird. While he was not a big world class worker, they gave him a few good runs in Memphis due to his connection of being Lawler's cousin.

But everywhere else, he was used as a ref (mainly in Mid South), although I think he had a small run with the ill-fated Georgia Championship Wrestling Superstars.
