I kicked off Top Rope Wrestling in December 2004, and I'm now into 2005. My current title holders are... World Heavyweight : Antonio Inoki, Interstate Heavyweight : Danny Hodge, High Voltage Heavyweight : TBD, World Tag Team : Backbreakers (Race and Masked Superstar), High Voltage Tag Team : TBD. I also have my own King of the Ring Champion called the King of the Gallery Heavyweight Champion, and that will be a annual crowning in April. I put on three shows a week (game time), Mega Monday / Showcase Thursdays and High Voltage Saturday's. I'm going to have my TRW travel twice a year around the world on the Ringside Tour, May and in November. Things are going strong, and the nWo will be invading TRW... Rick Rude, Konnan and the Hot Shots : Buff Bagwell and Chris Candido w/Tammy are my nWo. The Bill Apter card has added more spice to the fed, TRW is ALIVE with ACTION!

W.A.S is very cool, I like it! I'm rolling along in 2005, and Johnny Valiant won the High Voltage Heavyweight Title over Killer Kowalski and in the same night defeated DDP in his firts title defense. The Crusher and Cousin Luke will debut as a tag team during the High Voltage Tag Team Title Tournament, and they will be known as the DRIFTERS! Johnny Valentine and Nick Bockwinkel continue to be the top two contenders for Antonio Inoki's World Heavyweight Championship. The Midnight Express and the Road Warriors are on the final leg of the best of three series tied at 1-1 for the #1 Contenders Match for the Backbreakers World Tag Team Belts. The nWo will invade TRW in the near future and what will happen to Bobby Heenan when they arrive!?

Here's NEWS from my TRW... Antonio Inoki remains the World Champ, and he will either face Bockwinkel or Johnny Valentine... Nick and Johnny have a Number One Contenders match, this is prior to the RINGSIDE TOUR (my world tour). In a shocking upset, Gorgeous George wins the Interstate Heavyweight Title from Danny Hodge. Johnny Valiant lost the High Voltage Championship to the "PEOPLE's CHAMPION" DDP! In front of 3,200 fans at the RN Studios in Tampa Florida celebrated with the new Champ. The Back Breakers - Harley Race and the Masked Superstar still remain the World Tag Team Champions, but the Legion of Doom the Road Warriors are the #1 Contenders. The Eastern Summit - Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff remain the High Voltage Tag Team Champions, but Team Work - Frank Gotch and Dan Severn are hot on their trail... this is a very heated feud in Top Rope Wrestling.

Ringside Tour 2005 at the Tokyo Tower continued... the nWo (Rude, Konnan; Hot Shots : Candido and Bagwell w/DiBiase) failed to defeat the team of Inoki (World Heavyweight Champion), DiPaolo, Bockwinkel and Bundy. Rude's nWo needed to win the match to gain a rematch against Inoki for the World Title. DiPaol pinned Rude to win the match for his team, the WAR is not over! Muraco and Rogers had a #1 Contenders Match for the World Title and Muraco pulled out a late victory to get a shot at Inoki at the Frankfurt Arena in Germany on the next card. The Road Warriors defeat Rising Suns : Rikidozan and Baba to get the World Tag Team Title Shot against the Backbreakers (Race and M. Superstar). The Iron Sheik left the Eastern Summit (Volkoff and Breznikov) to form the Kindred Spirits tag team along with the Terrible Turk. So this vacate's the High Voltage Tag Team Belts, who will win these belts when TRW returns to the states? Steve Corino turns on D*ck Hutton the two formed a team with the Vachons to stop the Hardcore movement, but Corino snapped and attacked Hutton! Danny Hodge came out to aid his fellow Oklahoma Born and now these two have formed a partnership... The Sooners are here and Steve Corino needs to find a tag team partner or face these ticked off Sooners 1 on 2! There is buz in the air, word has it the Boogie Woogie Man is coming to the TRW, and Johnny Valiant is not pleased with this change in his brother! Johnny has been working out with a mystery wrestler in New York City, and they plan to debut at the Sportsplex in New York City at Mega Monday when the TRW returns to the States in March! The TRW continues to HEAT UP!

It would be ironic if Corino brought in a hardcore wrestler (Sandman, Sabu) to be his partner. Great stuff so far, Dennis.

(2/13/05 UPDATE : TRW's RINGSIDE TOUR) The Italia Centre - Torino, Italy : Two nights in Torino kicked off with the Sandman winning in a bloody Barbed Wire Cage Match over Sabu. S.D. Jones pulls out the BIGGEST upset in Top Rope Wrestling, he defeated nWo's Rick Rude! Road Warriors got delayed in Frankfurt and missed the World Tag Team Title Match, as did the Flying Redheads who are next in line for a shot, Bastien and Lyons are back in the States so Top Rope's Chairman John Reagle issued a open title match and Steve Corino and his mystery partner came out and the two men defeated Race and Masked Superstar the Backbreakers for the victory and the championship gold. The Mystery Partner is none other then Killer Kowalski, and they are known as OLD SCHOOL! The next night we saw two Loser Leaves Town Matches... the first one was a Last Man Standing Match and Jimmy Snuka defeats Jim Londos, both men stepped up to this anyone enters match. Nick Bockwinkel was the guest referee for the next Loser Leaves Match, he was signed prior to the wrestlers... Buddy Rogers defeats Bockwinkel's current nemesis Johnny Valentine, after all is said both Jimmy Snuka and Buddy Rogers attacks Londos when Jim Londos wanted to shake Snukas hand in good faith... but thats when the struck, but Valentine came to the aid of Londos... more to come on this war! The Main Event for this last card in Torino saw Ilio DiPaolo versus Nick Bockwinkel for a World Heavyweight #1 Contenders Spot, and in the end Bockwinkel once again wins the shot at Antonio Inoki! Side note we will see Old School versus the Sooners (Hutton and Hodge) on the next card...
