. And the story's not so much in who the first experiment is, as much as what happens after the revelation in 2119. Perhaps, after he finds out, 'Rubicon' is going to go nuts and attempt to Slaughter Barnabas and the Species team. His part of unknowingly being an experiment of Barnabas' will be symbolic of Caesar 'Crossing the Rubicon'. This wrestler will adpot the name as a symbol of that action, a point of no return. In considering this, I may have to go with Wildcat. Puma has got a really good thing going, but Wildcat, leaves Species, comes back very feral, and we haven't heard much from him lately, have we? He is prett much mired in mediocrity right now. He barely got a mention in the last edition, and that is the kind of swerve Mark enjoys tossing at us. Will be cool to see the results. |

Rubicon is............drum roll please.........TERAK! AFTER YOU"RE DONE LAUGHING think about it. He's not loyal, he just wants to be a winner. That's why he left the Kingdom for the Species tem. After a long and dissappointing career ( and as you all know it was sad and dissappointing) he wants to go out a winner and joining Barnabus and becoming half animal suites him. And maybe becoming half animal with over come the fact he is way past his prime (did he ever have one..?) and let him have a couple of good years as a wrestler.
As for the first Barnabus experiment I go with Wildcat, I never thought about it but it makes perfect sence. That's why he doesn't know, because he was an animal turned human instead of a human turned animal.
Great set Mark, The CPC is now with the GWF, it is no longer the minor leagues but rather a major force to be reconned with.
One thing though, Mark PLEASE PLEEEAAASEEE do something with Talon, his pic is terrible. I can't use a guy if I hate his art ( I know that's lame), his art has surpassed Beast-Riders as my most hated picture ever.
That is my only complait and request, other wise you and Jeremy have done a great gob at building a dynasty.

it doesn't matter if you change Talon's art but PLEASE don't bring back Terak...espically in an angle like this.
I would be more inclined to believe Wildcat's story now, Why didn't he go back to Savage Kingdom after leaving Species...Well only a few months to go

Oh My God if Rubicon is Terak Mark will be an instant legend. How many people would totaly FREAK OUT over that?
The chances of that alone almost make me want to go to Galacticon.
I thought maybe the first expiriment was PUMA because, hey, RUBICON needs someone to feud with and Puma seems to be the guy don't ya think?
No way is Rubicon Swarm, Antak, or Minotaur. Could be Mollock. Could be Genocide. Doesn't makre sense to be Mandrill.
But hey, if friggin Karah can become THAT thing, RUBICON could darn well be TERAK.

Anything over two is excessive.  BTW, that's not a filter I added -- that one's something built in to the board. I wish there were an equivalant for !!!, though. |

Myself, I can't wait to see Rubicon, and I hope it's an all new character. While some of the ideas were brilliant (Terak), and some lamer than Huey Lewis (Genocide?), a new character will help further cement the CPC as a progressive fed with original characters. Besides, Mark has never made this much fuss over a rookie before - what is the amazing secret of Rubicon?

Okay...I finally recieved 2118...here are my opinions...Talon's picture was horrible! How about Mace being changed into the other member of the Darwin's Legacy? Hey...just a thought...
Terak/Beast Rider should never...I mean EVER...come back into the wrestling fold...Rubicon probably is a new wrestler that hasn't debuted as of yet...Vendetta was turned into Slave Beast by the way...I know this for a fact...ha!ha!ha!ha! the Slave beast looks to much like a shaggy human or a hairless puppy either one...I don't know what I'm talking about.Good work Mark...later...TK.
