One of the weirdest things about this game is ... how your emotions play into the game.
EXAMPLE ... DISASTER! I loved him when he first came in and pushed the hell out of him and he SUCKED. He couldn't beat anyone. I recently tried something new and was like Disaster sucks don't push him. Disaster is now on his best winning streak EVER.
Oh, to bring it back around ... I never liked Tauran. I thought his card was stupid. Then when Monolith came in I was like you know what lets bring Tauran back as one of their henchmen saying that he was so caught up with wrestling he went to the dark menace who found the secret to reverse aging. Tauran came back as this super heel and all of a sudden is one of my favorites now.
So what I am saying is, if you don't like someone don't just disregard them. DONT PLAY BY THE BOOK!!!! Thats the best advice anyone can give you. You don't like Anivar, create a different personality for them. Create something new. Don't like Heracles move set or his story? Say he is an escaped mental patient who thinks he is Hercules. The options are endless ...

Currently playing 2090...
I have trouble with both Massif and Exo-King. They get their time in the spotlight... but the fans are in line for the bathroom when either one is in the ring.

Massif is one of my all time favorite wrestlers because he was the first wrestler that I gave a "personality" to. He was a big man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He would celebrate a big win and cry after a tough loss. Giving Massif this personality really opened up my creativity and took CotG to a whole new level for me.

As for Gryt, if I ever get back into playing the COTG era feds, I think a team with him and Stigma seems pretty natural. Except that they're not in the same fed. ;D

Besides, if I came back now, I'd probably have one fed with guys from the GWF, POW, GWFZ, and maybe even an aCe guy like Avarice.

Back in 2088 I hated The Creeper. The only time I would use him is when I had to round out a card. Today, I'm not in love with Brainstorm and am using him almost exclusivly in 6-man tag matches with Matinee Idol and Latasha.

Yeah, it's not the undercard guys I wound up disliking for the most part. It was the mid-card guys who just should've been better and couldn't buy a win or had next to no storyline potential for me that I got down on. Creeper, Gryt, Sectarian, and those kinds of guys always had places in my feds.

The only wrestler I ever retired early was Guardsman, I hated this guy as a wrestler, he was a one dimensional as they come. He wanted to feud the Gladiators but wasen't even in the same class. Usually if I do find a wrestler I don't like or find boring I try to find some way to make him intresting and with the Guardsman it was a no go.

Let me think... I tried to use most of the members of Savage Kingdom as little as possible... I actually tried to use the Mesmer and Phantast magic cards, but the Mesmer one almost always worked and the Phantast one almost never did. Made for an interesting story but a lousy card for me to roll on. Oh, I got one! I never used the first Blazing Skull card from Bash, the one taht could kill people. Never used it. Not once.

No, but there are some i use less, and really question myself. Brainstorm would be a good example.

I bet I'm in the minority on this one, but I never cared much for Buck Steele and Genocide when there was the game mechanic in which you'd switch cards. I don't know why, but I didn't dig either guy and as a result, despite Genocide always being rather powerful, the character barely showed up on my cards.
