I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I was not sure of which of the boards would be the most appropriate place to do so, so I'll try here. I am coming back to COTG after several (about six, I think) years away. I played for quite a while before that, so I am looking forward to starting up again. Tom and Mark might remember me--I used to send in updates a lot, and Mark and I briefly worked on writing some GWF short stories together. I had one of my own GWF short stories ("Make Your Own Destiny") published in the promoter a long time ago.
Anyway, I've enjoyed reading these boards for the last few days to refresh my memory about the game and see what has been happening. When I left, my feds were in the year 2110 (I was a couple of years behind even then), so that's where I am picking up. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Doctor David! I know you can't tell by the screen name, but this is Mark. Trent's just my alter ego, whom you'll soon learn more about.
Welcome back, pal. Of course I remember you. Things have definitely changed since you've left, so it's time to play catch up. This is a great group of folks who are like a family: occasional disagreements, but on the whole a nice bunch to hang out with.
