It seems to me most promotion's on here take place in Texas. Mine does as well. I live in New York but grew up on WCCW so my home promotion takes place there. It seems many other people use Texas as well. I think that's interesting. Is it because you guys live in Texas or just enjoyed Texas wrestling?

Well, since I grew up within an hour's drive of Dallas and watched the Von Erichs on Channel 11 every Saturday night for some 20-odd years, it seemed natural for me to headquarter my LWF promotion in Dallas. Plus, the Sportatorium (God rest its soul) was the perfect wrestling arena, with all seats rising on an incline from ring level.

My LWF is world wide. No regional thing here. I'm only on card #19 and haven't brought anyone in from the 2nd set except Albano. I'm touring across the USA right now and later the Legends will hit Canada, Europe, Japan and Mexico. Using all classic arenas of course.

LOT is Headquartered in Wisconsin were most of the matches take place; but my territory includes Minnesota, Iowa, Nortnern Illinois, Michigan, and parts of indiana ,Ohio, and Canada. And lets just say anyone who runs cards in my territory without my permission tend to have a lot of "unlucky" things happen to them and there wrestlers. (I'll bet there aren't too many people inside the industry who miss the old over prottected territorial game with it's death threats and uncertanties)

The next LWF card will be at the Minneapolis Auditorium. Can you compete with the Giant Baba vs. Harley Race to determine the #1 contender to Buddy Rogers' world title? Or a Bullwhip match between Ox Baker and Nick Bockwinkel? I don't think so. Just try and keep us from running in your territory! (don't take any of this seriously ;D

My AWF is based in America, and so the AWF tours America...
I think Texas was a underated hotspot for wrestling and was eatin up by the North East (WWF) and South East (wCw) and so the promoters swarm to a time and place that had great wrestling that many might have missed.
I'm going to add a Texas State Heavyweight Belt to the AWF, this may happen when and if I bring the Mega Monday roster and Showcase roster together as one main promotion. Either way Saturdaynights will be held in Texas and so we could see two belts in that region.

We originally thought about Orlando since we're right near it, but decided on Philly instead, since we're both Flyers fans. Bye bye Devils! Toronto, you're next!

Any one who dares to book shows at MCI Center, DC Armory, Show Place Arena or First Mariner Arena will have the wrath of DWC raining down on them! ;D (Capital Centre/USAir Arena doesn't exist anymore....there's a shopping mall on the site now) -jon dwc.jondenny.com
