For pin ratings.. what's the number in () for? For Mutant is 7(4) so what's the 4.. for?

7 is if you play by basic rules. (4) is if by advanced rules. Most everyone I know uses the number in parentheses so that matches go at least long enough to be interesting more often than not.

Oh okay thanks. I use it too.. but I use the number in parentheses when the wrestler is a champion and the title is on the line. Titles do change hands.. just not as often. Which is what I want.

I personally always use the advanced rules (number in parentheses) for every match I play. For title matches, I make the champion roll his PIN twice in a roll and that for me has successfully prevented an excessive number of title changes.

I'm still holding to my theory that Monolith is Mandrill, but I've been wrong many times before.

Plus, if you don't use the pin in the ( ), I don't think you're supposed to add the finisher rating, you just roll the pin and that number never changes. You don't add fatigue tokens either.
I could be wrong as I don't have my game in front of me but I'm, pretty sure that's the rule.

Payback's right on the higher pin.. that's for the basic game, and you don't use the finisher rating, or tokens.

I'm still holding to my theory that Monolith is Mandrill, but I've been wrong many times before. I think he has something, a connection, with Mandrill but may not be him. But the GWF is always full of surprises and it would be cool if he was/is Mandrill. I still cant wait until Thantos enters the transolver. =)

I'm still holding to my theory that Monolith is Mandrill, but I've been wrong many times before. That's actually not a bad theory... I think it's more likely that Mandrill is more likely the mind behind the mayhem, however this is a very good theory, especially since Epoch has been taken out.

I think most of us had at least some variation on some rule wrong at one time or another. Don't sweat it.
