2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH
WIND RIDERS & COSMOS VS. CROSSCURRENTS & MIMIC
The aquamen and the silent one made their way down the entrance ramp to the sound of Collective Soul’s “Where The River Flows” to a chorus of boos. Then, a loud pop was heard as the “Hardy Boyz Theme (WWE)” hit the speakers and the Wind Riders ran down to the ring, with an uneasy Cosmos walking behind them.
KRIS O: “And it clearly shows that Cosmos has mixed emotions about teaming up with Tano and Rama.”
GRAYMAR: “Sure, Krisso. The wrath of Morpheus is looming over his head. We’ll see what sort of role that plays in this match.”
Tano and Rama jumped right into the ring and began to unleash their wrath on their opponents. After referee Brian Barrow established order, Tano and Thetis were the legal men. After the CrossCurrents missed a double clothesline attempt on the Wind Rider, he made a tag to Rama. The Wind Riders and the CrossCurrents duked it out in the ring and eventually, Cosmos and Mimic tangled as well. Amidst the chaos, Tano put Cosmos on his shoulders and together they gave Thetis a dazzling superplex off the top rope as the crowd erupted!
KRIS O: “Did you see that? Absolutely AMAZING!”
In the meantime, Mimic and Vortex missed a double back elbow attempt on Rama when the fan favorite ducked. As Barrow got things under control, Rama planted the silent one’s head into the canvas with a leaping DDT! The Wind Rider made a tag to Cosmos, who impulsively went for the MASTERDROP but mute rolled out of the way.
Mimic locked in the MIME NERVE SLEEPER but the brash youngster quickly elbowed his way out of the hold and tagged Rama back in. Mimic bailed to the outside, but the fan favorite got a pop when he took the silent one down to the concrete with a plancha! Another melee broke out between the teams in which the faces won. A few minutes later, the CrossCurrents attempted a double suplex on Cosmos, but in mid-air he hopped behind Thetis and locked in a sleeper while Barrow sent Vortex to his corner. With Thetis nearly unconscious on the mat, Cosmos climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit the MASTERDROP, although Vortex ran in for the pin save.
As Cosmos tried to lift the aquaman off the mat, Thetis gave him a low blow and then made a tag to Mimic. The silent one tried to slap on the MINE NERVE SLEEPER again, but Cosmos wriggled free and tossed his opponent into the ropes. Mimic jumped to the second rope and then flung himself back towards Cosmos, knocking the cocky one over the top rope and down to the floor with a flying head scissors! The mute went upstairs and sailed through the air with a Senton Splash, but Cosmos rolled out of way at the last second while Mimic crashed hard on the concrete.
The brash youngster tossed his opponent back into the ring, where he perched Mimic in a sitting position on the top turnbuckle, then hit him with a superplex! He went for a cover, but Thetis and Vortex stormed the ring and hit the cocky one with the WATERY GRAVE. Barrow’s patience had run out, so he disqualified the heels!
GRAYMAR: “I’m not sure how much more these men can give Krisso. We’re only one fall into this thing and everybody involved looks spent!”
Vortex started the second fall for his team, and repeated Mimic’s ways by sending Cosmos out to the floor with a flying head scissors. While on the outside, the brash youngster raked the aquaman in the eyes and then sent him into the steel guardrail. When the action moved back to the inside, Cosmos made a hot tag to Rama as the crowd popped. The Wind Rider’s offensive didn’t last too long though, as he was pinned by Thetis after the aquamen leveled him with a WATERY GRAVE.
KRIS O: “It’s all tied up at one fall apiece, and it’s anybody’s match at this point!”
The third and deciding fall started out with many 2-counts. Cosmos got frustrated and while Tano grappled with Mimic inside the ring, the cocky one grabbed a steel chair and clobbered each of the CrossCurrents without Barrow seeing it as the fans went crazy, even though Rama looked a bit miffed at his partner’s actions. Later, the Wind Riders managed to hit the DEIMOS DRIVER on Vortex, but when Tano tried to make a cover another fracas broke out. During the confusion, Vortex pinned Tano for what he thought was a 3-count when the bell suddenly rang.
GRAYMAR: “What the hell?”
KRIS O: “I think the time limit ran out!”
POWERS: “Ladies and gentlemen, the time limit has expired; therefore, this match has been declared a dra…”
MELESKY (interrupting from the top of the entrance ramp): “HOLD IT RIGHT THERE SHAWN! These fans didn’t pay their hard-earned money to see the opening bout of the biggest GWF pay-per-view of all time end in a draw! As the Commissioner, I order you to RESTART THE MATCH!”
The crowd exploded as the bell rang again. In the few split seconds that Vortex stood confused, Tano rolled the CrossCurrent up from behind for a 3-count!
WINNERS: Wind Riders & Cosmos
1ST FALL: Mimic disqualified in 28:42
2ND FALL: Thetis pins Rama in 37:05
3RD FALL: Tano pins Vortex in 47:12
MATCH RATING: 4 Stars
Vortex was infuriated as the victors celebrated their big win…
GRAYMAR: “So, the pay-per-view starts out with someone getting screwed over! If it wasn’t for Cosmos using that chair, as well as the whole restart thing, I think this bout would’ve ended a lot differently!”
CASTOR CHAIN MATCH
K.O. KELLER VS. SANTON
Before the official introductions, ring announcer Shawn Powers explained the rules of the match to the fans…
POWERS: “Ladies and gentlemen, this next bout is the GWF’s first-ever CASTOR CHAIN MATCH!!! (crowd pops) In this contest, the two competitors will be linked together by a 15-foot Castor Chain. The object of the match is to drag your opponent to all four corners and touch the top turnbuckle of each corner in succession!”
The masked man made the long walk down to the ring as the Sid Vicious Theme (WCW)” blared in the background. Then, the crowd was brought to its feet by the opening notes of the “Rocky Theme” while Keller emerged on top of the entrance ramp in his full boxing garb, bobbing and weaving his way down to the ring. The excitement level went up a few notches as referee Dale Armstrong hooked both men up to the 10-foot chain. The bell rang, and we were off and running!
Both men instinctually wrapped the chain around their right hand and then Santon surprisingly landed the first punch on the boxer! The masked man worked on Keller for a few minutes, then went for the SPIKE PILEDRIVER, but the boxer wrapped the chain around Santon’s left leg and took him down to the mat! The fan favorite followed up by knocking his rival silly with a falling fist drop with the chain! When Keller went to lift Santon off the canvas, the heel used the chain to rake him in the eyes to regain control. The masked man tossed the boxer into the ropes, but on the return, Keller ducked a clothesline, bounced off the opposite set of ropes, and held out his length of chain with both hands to clothesline his enemy!
GRAYMAR: “I’ve gotta give it to Keller. He’s doing the right thing in there, and that’s using that chain in any way he can think of to wear his opponent down.”
The prize fighter tossed the masked man into a corner and then used his shackled fist to deliver a brutal TEN COUNT! The fans were losing themselves as Keller touched three turnbuckles, but as he started to make his way to the fourth and final corner, the heel regained his composure and yanked on the chain, pulling Keller down to the canvas, The masked man then wrapped the weapon around his adversary’s throat, draining the energy out of him. When the boxer was almost choked out, Santon laid him flat on his back and then scaled the turnbuckles. He came down at his rival with a falling fist, but Keller rolled out of the way, causing the masked man to strike the mat with the chain instead and violently thrash in agony!
KRIS O: “Oh my goodness! Santon may have just broken his wrist!”
Keller seized the opportunity and whipped Santon into a corner. He then wrapped the chain around the masked man’s arms and legs, confining his nemesis! The prize fighter took what slack was left in the shackle and pummeled the heel with it, opening up a minor cut on his forehead in the process! The masked man’s head hung low as the boxer untangled him from the corner and went for a victory run. Just like his last attempt, he made it to the first three corners, but as he approached the fourth and final set of turnbuckles, Keller discovered that Santon still had some fight left in him when the masked man yanked on the chain, starting a tug-of-war between the combatants.
A weary Santon couldn’t win the test of strength, so Keller whipped him into the corner again and delivered another TEN COUNT! Assuming that the heel was knocked out, the boxer made his way around the turnbuckles rather carelessly, ignoring the fact that a loop of slack had formed around his right ankle. The barely conscious Santon noticed this however, and just before Keller touched the final turnbuckle, the masked man tugged on the chain, tripping his opponent and causing the prize fighter to fall flat on his face!
Santon crawled under the ropes and down to the outside floor. He got into a sitting position and placed his feet against the corner ringpost. When Keller got back up to his feet, his enemy was nowhere to be found, as the boxer couldn’t see Santon from his line of vision. Suddenly, Keller felt a sharp yank as Santon pulled with all of his might, luring the prize fighter towards the corner!
GRAYMAR: “How brilliant! Santon is using the ringpost as leverage! Look at Keller! The chain is sliding through his fingers! He’s losing his grip!”
The heel’s scientific advantage was too powerful for Keller, who finally let go of his grasp and flung right into the top of the ringpost! Santon immediately hopped up on the ring apron and bashed his adversary’s head into the object a few more times before a bloody Keller fell backward on the canvas! The masked man re-entered the ring and went for the win, only making it to two turnbuckles before Keller began to swing jabs at him. Santon quickly dumped his opponent over the top rope and down to the floor, but as the boxer fell, he pulled on the chain and brought the masked man with him!
After both men got back up to a standing position, Santon whipped Keller into the steel guardrail. The heel charged at his rival, but just as he drew close, Keller walloped him with a chain-wrapped left hook! The boxer tossed the masked man back into the ring and then whipped him into the ropes. The prize fighter went for his patented flying knee, but Santon caught him in mid-air and drove his skull into the canvas with the SPIKE PILEDRIVER as the crowd gasped!
KRIS O: “And just like that, the entire momentum of this bout has changed again!”
The fans were booing Santon as he went on a victory run. He made it to the first three turnbuckles with ease, but just as he was about to win the match, Keller got in front of him and tried with all his might to hold him back from the final turnbuckle! The crowd was going hysterical as both men were giving it everything they had, but without warning, the boxer used the chain to poke Santon in the eye! This caused the masked man to stagger. Keller hit the K.O. Flury which knocked his opponent right over the top and back down to the floor!
The prize fighter quickly went upstairs and then jumped down on his nemesis with a chain-laden high-risk ax-handle! After using a minute to catch his breath while Santon lay sprawled out on the concrete, the boxer went to lift the masked man up, but Santon kicked Keller in the gut. The heel then, in an adrenaline rush, gave his opponent the Headbanger’s Ball while holding the chain against his enemy’s skull! The masked man followed up by rolling back into the ring near a corner, then right back out to the adjacent side, then yanking on the chain, pulling Keller right into the steel ringpost!
Santon reversed his rolling and then went to the top turnbuckle. He dove at Keller with a high-risk clothesline, but the prize fighter dove out of the way! The masked man crashed hard on the concrete, and gazed up at the ceiling lights. The rejuvenated boxer rolled his opponent back into the ring, wound up, clobbered Santon with a final left hook and then dragged the unconscious masked man to all four turnbuckles for the win!
WINNER: K.O. Keller in 23:31
MATCH RATING: 5 Stars
The crowd chanted “K.O.K…K.O.K” as the exhausted boxer raised his hands in triumph…
KRIS O: “What a fight! Both men took each other to the limit, but in the end, Keller has proven once again that he is the toughest man in the GWF!”
GRAYMAR: “You can’t discount Santon at all though. I don’t think his reputation will suffer at all from this. In fact, his stock value can only rise because of his performance tonight. Fans, you just witnessed two of the greatest competitors in the galaxy show you WHY the GWF is at the top of the food chain!”
GALAXIAN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
ROCK SOLID© VS. MENSANS
“Them Bones” by Alice In Chains hit the speakers and an overwhelming wave of boos greeted Cordsar and Trotarus as they emerged from the curtain. Next, the crowd rose to its feet as “Chris Master’s Theme (WWE)” started to play and Ricken Prince and Screw made their presence known.
KRIS O: “This is the Mensans’ NINTH opportunity to become the Galaxian Tag Team Champions. As if that isn’t ENOUGH pressure on them, these fans are undoubtedly pulling for the champions here in Orion tonight.”
Trotarus and Prince started things off. The larger Mensan quickly tossed the royal one into a corner and then charged at him, but the monarch moved out of the way, causing Trotarus to crash into the turnbuckle. Prince rolled him up from behind but only got a 2-count. Cordsar ran into the ring but Screw intercepted him and a brawl broke out. During the fracas, senior referee Jay Rush tried to put the “Big Freak” back in his corner. In the meantime, the heels clotheslined Prince over the top rope and down to the floor. Screw came back into the ring, but the Mensans gave him a double gut shot and then planted him into the mat with a double face-first suplex!
GRAYMAR: “The Mensans are on a roll! This COULD be the night they finally win the big one!”
The regal one crawled back into the ring and made an official tag to his partner while the heels made an exchange as well. Soon, Trotarus ensnared Screw in the MENSAN LOCK, but the giant managed to grab the bottom rope, forcing the heel to release the hold. The Mensans began further work on the behemoth’s injured leg, tagging in and out for a few minutes, but the tide turned when Trotarus sent the “Big Freak” into the ropes and Screw clobbered him with a running clothesline on the return!
The giant made a tag to Ricken Prince, who charged at his rival, but Trotarus used his power to hoist the mammoth up and crush him with a devastating spinebuster! The larger Mensan kicked the monarch out to the floor and then went upstairs. He dove at the royal one with a high-risk clothesline, but Prince dove out of the way! The regal one waited patiently behind the Mensan as he got back up to his feet, and then walloped him with a BOW TO THE PRINCE as the crowd went crazy!
The action spilled back into the ring, where the monarch covered Trotarus, but Cordsar ran in for another save. Screw ran back in as well, and Rush had his hands full again. This time, the heels nailed Prince with a double face-first suplex while the referee tried to send Screw back to his corner. After the smoke cleared, Trotarus sent the monarch into the ropes and bent down in preparation to give his nemesis a backdrop, but on the return, Prince went for the ROYAL DECREE! The Mensan quickly spun out of the attempt and then drove a knee into the regal one, which sent him through the ropes and back to the outside. As Prince got back up to his feet, Trotarus charged towards him and jumped through the ropes, spearing the monarch into the steel guardrail! Trotarus quickly recovered and pounded his opponent with punches on the floor!
GRAYMAR: “Yeah! Get him Trotarus! The champions are in bad shape right now!”
A small stream of blood began to trickle down Prince’s forehead as the Mensan tossed him back into the ring. Trotarus went for a chokeslam, but the royal one elbowed him in the head, and then lifted him into an airplane spin! The crowd rallied behind the monarch as he was finally able to make the hot tag to Screw! At the same time, Trotarus tagged Cordsar, but the behemoth came into the ring like a freight train, pummeling both Mensans with forearms and kicks. He went for a bodyslam on Cordsar, but the skyweight used his agility to turn the attempt into a bulldog! That only stuttered the giant’s offense for a few seconds while Prince came into the ring and traded blows with Trotarus. Screw quickly recovered, but Cordsar jumped from the top turnbuckle in an attempt to take the “Big Freak” down with a huricanrana. The behemoth caught the Mensan in mid-air, then gave him not one, not two, but THREE powerbombs in a row and then got the 3-count!
WINNERS & STILL GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS:

2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH
WIND RIDERS & COSMOS VS. CROSSCURRENTS & MIMIC
The aquamen and the silent one made their way down the entrance ramp to the sound of Collective Soul’s “Where The River Flows” to a chorus of boos. Then, a loud pop was heard as the “Hardy Boyz Theme (WWE)” hit the speakers and the Wind Riders ran down to the ring, with an uneasy Cosmos walking behind them.

GRAYMAR: “I’m not sure how much more these men can give Krisso. We’re only one fall into this thing and everybody involved looks spent!”
Vortex started the second fall for his team, and repeated Mimic’s ways by sending Cosmos out to the floor with a flying head scissors. CASTOR CHAIN MATCH
K.O. KELLER VS. SANTON
Before the official introductions, ring announcer Shawn Powers explained the rules of the match to the fans…
