I have played loads of GWF 2122 yet . I started playing again and looking at who was hero or villian etc . To set up feuds I didn't know about instantly . What shocked or surprised me ? . Was Wolf's status ? as Independent . As always think he was a hero ? .

you could best say he is a Face...since he teaming with the Galdiators that makes it a bit more of a grey area...

Tom just doesn't seem to want to make the Glads faces despite the fact that pretty much since 2113 they've been feuding with heel teams except 2119.

Wolf's a face. Or Hero if you prefer.
He has done some heelish things in his career..almost signing with the CPC, joining Brymstone Burning, but the fans love him. He moves merchandise.
Don't let a little thing like the booklet throw you for a loop.

I don't speak "Bazzy", but his posts always give me great comic relief! ;D

IMO...Wolf is kind of like Steve Austin in that he plays the role that benifits him and does his own thing...

No I missed that sign
I think Thad is correct
Wolf is like Steve Austin. No Matter what he does the fans love him
You could say he is a hero but I think an independant fits him better

Noooo, couldn't be.

I'm not going to make a lot of friends or influence people with this as that one book says. But here goes...........
THE DARK MENACE OF THE UNIVERSE pg 190 and I quote. I think these sudden " returns from retirement' are usually a dead-end street. You can't go home again, and a weak return only serves to diminish a classic character. Loyal game fans consistently try to convince me to bring back their favorite characters, but I think the temptation should be resisted.
Now Tom, you know I think the world of you, your family and C.O.T.G. but don't you think bringing back Wolf is a little hypocritical? I've been a loyal fan of C.O.T.G. since 12-?-86 and I will remain one forever but I just whated to point this out. Does anyone else think this will hurt the legacy of Wolf, especially if Monolith crushes him in the feud?

Wolf should have not come back, even Tom agrees from pg. 190 of his book. Sike, just trying to make a moot point. I really like having Wolf back and I'm doing a lot with him and having fun.

Tom said that USUALLY it's a dead-end.
Wolf is a special character. He's the one character where the rules don't apply. Tom even said in the book, "I still miss you Wolf," if memory serves.
The only reason for him to return would be to face MONOLITH.

How can you not like Wolf? The guy is a legend's legend (although, maybe it's just me, but I never cared much for Amazonia). But think about it....300 years from now, should we anticipate another Wolf comeback?
