Do you follow the established storylines?
If so, very closely, or do you branch off?
With new sets, do you bring the guys in all at once, or mix them in through the year?

Sort of.
I branch off. How far depends on what my plans are for incoming wrestlers.
I mix them in through the year.

I follow pretty closely. Occasional side feuds come up but I stick to it for the most part.
Hey, Doctor. It looks like you live pretty close to me. I live in Plano.

Since my restart, I have followed them to the letter. Once Sudden Death rolls around, I will tweak the stories just a bit because my fed will be banishing not one, but TWO wrestlers per team, using my fed's results as a guideline.

Yes, although my feuds in my fed are based mainly on my rankings.
I bring them all in at once if possible, usually at the Deimos Perennial, showing all the talent.

I follow almost to the word. Sometimes there are other dynamics such as branch off fueds but I follow the book and do my own thing with another fed, GCW.

Yeah I am so far off the beaten path I only read the part of the handbook that introduces the new wrestlers so I can get their finishers.

Do you follow the established storylines? Always. If so, very closely, or do you branch off? Pretty closely. What I do is use the stories in the handbook as the overriding stories for the year - Wolf vs. Monolith would be a story that would go on most of the year, but both guys would doubtless get pulled into side feuds and small storylines throughout the year. With new sets, do you bring the guys in all at once, or mix them in through the year? Starting about halfway through the previous year I start working the new guys in, so at January 1st I've got all of the new year worked into my current roster.

I'm a little surprised at how much everyone tends to keep to the established storyline.
Of course, I'm following it to the letter myself.
And I also mix in the new wrestlers, on average about a one a month througout the year. My only concern, is that my title history might look a little off, if say, the Norse Gods when the title in 2087.

In my COTG feds, I also mostly follow the official storylines.
But I also start to gradually introduce the wrestlers for the upcoming game year from Sep-Dec of the current year so that when the next game year begins most (but not always all) of the wrestlers for it are already in place.
For some reason, I personally actually tend to be much more creative in my LOW fed where I do things like team up wrestlers who really never teamed up together even if they actually wrestled during the same time period and give guys gimmicks they never really had.
