Effective today, I am shutting down my GWF, CPC, aCe and Legends feds. I am doing this for two reasons. First, I am taking the time to write the Trivia Questions for this year. Second, once Galacticon is over, it is time to bust out Early Classics...
RELAUNCH! Yes, I am going to relaunch my GWF right from the first year of 2072. I have used different systems of ranking contenders, establishing feuds, dealing with injuries, etc. I have found out which methods work and do not work, and it's time to bring a nice, uniform method to it all. Plus, it will be nice to revisit some of the classic wrestlers and feuds of the day!
Why am I posting this? Because surely I am not the only promoter to do this. Anyone out there have advice or tales to share about doing relaunches of their feds?

Good advice, my man, but with a lot of the sets, I rushed through to get caught up with everyone else. Now that everything is going to be one year apart between sets, this will give me plenty of catch up time. Plus, I'm nostalgic for some of the older stuff!

I'd recommend starting from 2074, myself...but whatever works...=)
All kidding aside, my reboot has been more fun than...virtually anything I've done with this game to date. At one time I tried to rush through, myself...but it's pretty pointless. It'll still be there tomorrow.

Actually, Deadman, when I see 2121, it will make me look forward to playing it down the road even more! The set looks awesome already!
Ok - rules for the relaunch:
Each wrestler will be given an initial Stroke Rating based on their Singles Rahl Ranking. Tag team ratings will be the average of the teams Tag Rahl Ranking. You earn points in the following manner:
0 points for losing 1 point for winning 2 points for winning a Specialty Match or a Secondary Title (Cruiserweight or Heavy Metal) 3 points for winning a Primary Title (Interplanetary, Tag Teams, or Women's) 4 points for winning against a listed feud enemy in a card 5 points for winning a Heavyweight Championship 6 points for winning a Torture Chamber Match
You lose points when a suspension is rolled. If a wrestler is suspended for 7 cards, they will instead lose 7 points of Stroke.
All title matches will be fought under Titan Death rules, and in the case of a feud, a Specialty Match may also be used.
All new cards for that card year (both rookies and updated cards) will be immune to suspension (to represent trying to get certain talent pushed that year).
For Sudden Death years, all injuries and suspension will be turned off so there is nothing stopping the action.
To be eligible for the Heavyweight Championship, you must have an initial Stroke Rating of 40 or higher - OR - win a non-title series against a champion - OR - win a title tournament. All singles wrestlers with an ISR of 40 or higher can ONLY compete for the Heavyweight Championship.
All wrestlers with ISR under 40 are eligible for the Interplanetary title.
All wrestlers weighing 240 pounds or less are eligible for the Cruiserweight title.
To be eligible for the Heavy Metal Title, you must have ONE of the following: 1) a Disqualification rating of 6 or higher 2) a Cage rating of 1 3) two or more "out of the ring" options 4) any move that can result in your getting disqualified
All tag teams are eligible for the Tag Team Title.
All women are eligible for the Women's Title... and Rouser!
Each card year will have 25 standard cards, where opponents face off in best of five matches. This will help represent programs.
Each year will start off with a Perennial, where all titles from the previous year will be surrendered and fought for in single elimination tournaments.
Card 13 will be The Gauntlet - where wrestlers will face off in a 20 to 30 man elimination tournament with the winner to receive a shot at the Heavyweight Championship.
Card 26 will be Galacticon, where wrestlers listed in feuds for that card year will face off in a best of seven series. Whichever wrestlers have the highest combined stroke for that year will face off in the final match of that card year - THE TORTURE CHAMBER!
I think that should just about do it... come July, the cards will begin! Yay!
