I finally got a chance to play my 2122 Perennial and in the second round of the singles tournament Monolith nd Wolf met for the first time. It was a very good match that saw action go back and forth and back and forth. Wolf hit some big moves, but Monolith was just too much tonight...after hitting Crashing Stampede and hooking on a Monolith Torture Rack, The Genetic Freak went for and nailed the Wild One with the End of All Things to get the pin. Monolith confidently strolled from the ringside area and at the top of the entrance ramp turned and waited for Wolf to get up...Wolf just stared at him the whole time he stood there...Monolith shrugged and walked out while Wolf stared him down and left the arena with fire in his eyes.
Round one to [shadow=red,left,300]Monolith[/shadow]
How has everyone else's first encounter gone?
BTW...Monolith lost in the next round to Death Knight II! Death Knight II was on a mission and just stayed on Monolith who didn't seem to have an answer for the offensive onslaught of DK II. DK II made it to the finals where he lost to Endgame, who tore into both DK II and Death Knight when he tried to interfere...

Haven't had a one on one yet, been doing tags and Ultimate Escape matches, trying to build to their first one on one encounter.

Haven't had an official match in my fed yet as I am building up for it
I did have two tournament matches at Galacticon with Wolf against Monolith and they split the matches

My first encounter in the ring between these two found Monolith squash Wolf on my last card. It was great because it flowed right into the storyline...Wolf had been recklessly attacking Monolith at every opportunity over the last 3 cards & when Monolith got his hands on him he squashed him...It just follows the old addage for Wolf: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

How long has DKII been in your GWF, Pete? He's in my GWFZ as a rookie and is doing quite well for himself

Ironically, before 2122 was even announced; I made it where Monlith had to win all of his matches against former GWF Champions before he could get his shot at Disaster. The surprise on the list was a returning legend for one night only..............thats right; WOLF.
Unfortunately, Monolith squashed him easily.

They haven't yet met in my fed. Nosfera, the previous #1 contender who gave Monolith a good run for his money, issued an open challenge that Wolf, on his return, accepted. Wolf lost that match when Omen interfered. So I'm going to see how this storyline plays out before I continue further.

Wolf's going to take his time. His first match was against Scimitar. His next will be against Betrayer. Monolith vs Wolf will be a big match so I want to save it.

How long has DKII been in your GWF, Pete? On and off since i created him (which was in 1999, i think...). I use him to round out the number of wrestlers as needed from set to set. He is back in this year, as i have kept Rush in the mix and in doing that i needed another guys to get the even number for how i run my fed. He has done well for me over the years...never an easy match for whomever he is facing...has had his hands on the IP and HM titles but i don't think he has ever won the big one...but i don't know if i have ever pushed him for it...that could change though now that Death Knight is with him at ringside...

GWF #1/2122 Deimos Perennial 2122 Live from Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Monolith vs. Wolf Monolith vs. Panther Warrior In a Torture Chamber Match For the GWF Heavyweight Championship Once again, the unstoppable Monolith rolled over Panther Warrior. Panther Warrior is a great wrestler and entertainer, but Monolith is inhuman. He is a brutal and taunting wrestling machine. Panther Warrior actually managed to give him 4 tokens, but took at least 12 himself. Monolith has beaten Panther Warrior senseless inside the inescapable cage and it is time for it to come to an end. As Panther Warrior was leaving the ringside area with doctors and friends at his side, the cage was beginning to lift and Monolith was outside the ring with his title belt, flaunting his stuff to fans and the camera. In fact, the camera was trained right on him when the lights suddenly went off. A creature dropped from the ceiling in the darkness and landed on Monolith’s back. The sharp pain of deep claws was a shock to his system. But he dropped his belt and ran to the ring with the creature. The lights came back on and it was Wolf that had dropped on top of Monolith. The fans were going wild as the two men were on their feet inside the ring. The bell sounded and they attacked each other. This impromptu match is on! Wolf took a lot of damage and kept coming, but Monolith’s power was just too damaging to him, as it is to most. Even the legendary Wolf had great trouble mounting an offense against Monolith’s. Monolith eventually hit The End of All Things for the pin. Wolf fought it the whole way though. He needed a 13 to kick out and rolled double 6’s for god’s sake! Wolf howls in frustration as Monolith walks unhurt and unmolested back to his locker room. The new year is here and the champ is back!

I said the heck with it and scheduled Monolith vs. Wolf right out of the gate, with Monolith's GWF title on the line. Monolith had won the title on his first night in a battle royal (when Encubus gave up the title rather than fight Bloodline) and has held onto it ever since, beating every challenger in the fed. Wolf was the new challenge and Monolith wanted to face him.
The match was going good, then Monolith was on offense after an outside the ring battle and hit the End of All Things and ended the match and kept the title. I am looking for these 2 to build up to their next encounter, which should be in a steel cage!

I have yet to have a match with them. Monolith is the GWF Heavyweight champ. Wolf was the XCW Heavyweight champ. Wolf attacked Monolith after he won the GWF strap. Leading Monolith to attack Wolf while he was defending his title, which he ended up losing due to Monolith. The GWF and XCW are threating each other about the interference. I'm not sure either Wolf or Monolith could really give an escrement whether or not either Organization wants these two fueding. The real problem is...can both sides come to an agreement to get these two in the ring?

Well,I realise that this thread has long since being looked at but I finally ran Wolf vs Monolith and Wolf took the aberration to school. Monolith got in some offense when Wolf mis-timed a deathjump but when Monolith tried the end of all things, Wold moved, tied Monoith up in the ropes, beat on him for a bit, pulled him out and sunk in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW, which made Monolith tap.

Wolf re-debuted by challenging Monolith after Monolith won the GWF Heavyweight title from Endgame at Deimos Perrenial. Monolith accepts for the next PPV (Blood Bash). After defeating names such as Kill Prey, Wolf remains undefeated since his return and defeats Monolith to become New GWF Champ. OOOOOOWWW!!!!
