stupid american dollar losing value on the global market...
what is one euro worth in USD these days? $1.33?
when I was here in China a couple years ago, USD$1 was worth RMB 8.2. Now it only gets me less than RMB 7.5. It is becoming harder and harder to live like a king on pennies.

I remember going out to dinner with Tom. Steve, The Olsen bros, Tim D, Chuck Carter and my wife and daughter and our meal came to around 50$ U.S. which turned out to be over 100$ Canadian. The Canadian dollar was at an all time low and that can almost killed me, so now I can't wait for "next year" and be able to spend.

What are the odds that by next July the Canadian dollar is still worth more than the U.S?

With the way the dollar has been dropping around the world for the last couple of years, I'd say a fair chance. I hate being poorer than Europeans while living in China.

That is because we were going to the second most expensive restaurant in Bemus Point...the most is the Hound and the Hare...BUT THEY BOTH ARE GOOD THOUGH!
