How easily persuaded are you into trying food for the first time? I ask that because, although it isnt my first time, I tried this new brand of ham salad tonight. I normally do not eat Ham Salad as I have never liked it, this brand whatever it is my wife bought is extremely tasty. I was just wondering.

Not surprisingly (considering my corpulent frame) I'm not adverse to trying new foods. My mother always had a tough time cooking when I was a kid because while I would eat anything she made, my sister was the world's pickiest eater. She still is actually.

I'm usually pretty easily persuaded...especially when its a new Taco Bell item (that is usually the same 10 ingrediants put together in a slightly different way).
BTW, I tried the new McDonald's Angus burger yesterday. Good, but not as good as BK's. I haven't had a MicD burger in ages, but the wife had a Big Mac Attack.

I don't know but it might depend on what area you're in. I got the Angus burger from McDonalds last summer in Barstow, California when I was driving back to Las Vegas from California. But I don't know if they've had it here in Nevada or not because I almost never go to McDonalds. Their Angus burger was OK.
Maybe I'll try their chipotle wrap. Last June someone gave a McDonalds gift card and I still have money on it because I don't eat fast food that often.

When I was a kid we stopped at a McDonald's in Ohio on our way to visit my grandparents. They had pizza. I was excited by this, so we tried it.
It was not good.

What always bothered me were those people that try to get you to eat something and refuse to tell you what it is thinking you you wont eat it. I wont eat anything if people wont identify it

mc pizza eh ? they must have done it in select areas.cause i dont remember it being here in ithaca. IIRC, and I might not because I was 7 or 8 years old, it was a McDonald's in Dayton, Ohio. To describe the McPizza is difficult. It had a really thin, brittle crust...very little sauce...and very little cheese and pepperoni on top. It wasn't horrible...but it wasn't very satisfying. I can see why it was never picked up nationally, because even at 7 or 8 I knew it was a stinker.

That's a pretty accurate description of the McPizza. Not worth the paper the sauce and cheese were slathered on.
And why not disparage the McRib? It certainly disparaged my intestines once upon a time. (I know, too much information...)

I had McPizza on a boy scout trip in CT. Awful.
The McRib actually has a pretty loyal following whenever it would occassionally pop up on the McDonald's menu.
Going back to Taco Bell. The Crunch Wrap Supreme is the best new fast food relased in the past 2 years. This is not disputable.

I am very skeptical about new food...HArd to imagine but i am a very picky eater...i love to eat, but and just ask my wife, i won't just eat anything. It drives her crazy because she'll find a recipe and will want to try it, but because it has something in it i won't eat, well let's just say its frustrating feeding me at times.

Since culinary school, I will try any new food just for the taste reference to experience that taste sensation...never liked salmon, or bleu cheese until school and found out the correct way that they are supposed to taste...now, I could eat a bleu cheese salmon sandwich...not quite but yummy....
