The fact that I even brought it up in the first place was an illustration of how far from common sense and logic this entire conversation has drifted (no surprise, given the subject matter). If you want to read megalomania into that, then that's your problem. It's not my problem, it's simply how I see it. I believe you have a strange, god-like complex when it comes to this board. I also believe you enjoy presiding over drama and fighting, which is the reason that you not only allow things to escalate the way that they do, but you often take part in the drama-filled discussions. And the fact that you are expousing the importance of this rule while simultaneously breaking it yourself shows that you are one. Again, not a big surprise. It also, however, shows a lack of basic comprehension, which coming from you is somewhat surprising. As a refresher, here is the rule you're trying to use against me (minus the last bit concerning real-life identities): That rule doesn't protect information (minus the omitted real-world identity thing that isn't relevant here). It doesn't declare some sort of "sanctity of PMs". It does say "if you don't like something a mod is doing/has done, tell one of the other mods instead of making a huge public hissy-fit". So why the public tantrum (yet again), Joe? Yes, I realize that there's been a decrease in mod numbers of late, but I know you're friends with Jim; couldn't you have brought this to his attention? What I am doing is not hypocritical for a number of reasons: The rule I am aspousing is not one I am breaking. I am revealing nothing that has been said by me or to me in private. At the time the rule was made, it was clearly meant to keep things out of the public eye that were said in PMs. That was how it was interpreted by all that I have seen in this thread, so apparently, you are either changing the meaning now or I'm not the only one lacking comprehension. Secondly, the rule I am probably breaking is one that I have always found to be total B.S. The fact that a person should have to take issue with a mod in private when the mod has done wrong in public is stupid. Again, with the god-like complex. If you are going to state your opinions in public, why should I have to address them in private? Finally, yes I like Jim, but this has nothing to do with him. If I had issue with something he had done publicly, I would bring it to him. I might even tell him to strap on his baby blue Wolf shirt and meet me at the Holiday Inn.

I guess MATURITY= A bunch of clowns that started the Hall of Doom board. Yeah, those two things go hand in hand. I'm not sure who Dead Like Me is, and again, I could care less. If you left because Swarm made you uncomfortable that is your prerogative. What is wack is when you people rejoin the board and you start posting about him. Here is something that confuses me, though. You all say you left because of Swarm, which, again, is your prerogatives, but how did you know immediately that he was gone? You were still reading and lurking. If you were comfortable enough to do that, why not just post and not interact with him? If you weren't lurking, that means somebody was sending out mass e-mails yesterday proclaiming, "Swarm left the board!" Again a generalization of a whole group of people. Please do not talk about maturity unless you are going to show some yourself, and not go around name calling or pointing fingers. I stayed out of this thread until it was brought to my attention that Payback called everyone on the Duece a p***y. I wanted to clear up why I, and a lot of people left, and returned. Anything said about Swarm was related to the fact that I don't "hate" him, I just didn't care for the atmosphere that seemed to prevail in the threads he was around. I think I was the first person to know Swarm was gone because I was reading the 2122 spoilers, and his name was white. I haven't been to this board since February, and only came over to read those. As you may or may not know the Duece is a lot more LOW orientated so I got my info here. I told other people as I knew it to be the reason a lot of them had left in the first place. I recommended they stay out of any threads like this if they decided to resign up. The first post from someone who signed back up on here I believe was pointed at Wildfire, and everyone assumed it was at Swarm. And there where no "mass-emails". We were in a chatroom when I found out. I told the others in there, recommended we resign up here. Quite simple actually. I know you didn't say anything about this, but I guess I'll clear it up right now since I've received PM's from a lot a people on the subject. The show "Dead Like Me" was on when I reregistered so I used it as my name. I didn't know about the events in Swarm's fed until after I reregistered.

I just glad Havoc finally realized I was mostly dissing him... I thought that important fact had been lost in all this.

Ok, you're missing the point. Some of the Deuce exclusive people have come here since Swarm left have been talking s**t about him and that's who I was talking about. Sorry if that was unclear.

I just glad Havoc finally realized I was mostly dissing him... I thought that important fact had been lost in all this. And had the same comment been made by me, Swarm, Joe, Payback etc. about certain members of the community, Ingersoll's head would've been spinning so fast with "Did you see what he wrote, wah!!!" While it p****d me off I'm not going to cry to Chris because a. I dish it out so I'll take it and b. I know nothing good would come from it anyway.

You'd better be careful, if you keep lumping your name with us, the Deuce guys will start making threads about you and coloring Havoc's card pink and making fake storyline posts in your fed thread.

Didn't you already see the pink colored Havoc. It was well done with a nice Heart tattoo with Neily in it. I actually thought it was funny and had no problem with it though. I make fun of mft's shirt stain. He makes fun of the old Havoc photo. It's kind of our thing.

Man, if nothing else this has provided some good comedy. I mean seriously, this has exceeded even my most wild expectations for LOLZ worthiness. I mean the subversion 2007 battles were awesome enough....then add on The Deuce exiles returning....Swarm's girlfriend making a heartfelt post extolling his virtuous nature....Havoc's continued presence....Punisher's internet tough guy act...Joe vs. Ingersoll becoming a main event program...and the obvious denial on both sides of the fence "Rob was an angel!" vs. "We're not obsessed!" ....Bravo to all involved.
This is top notch stuff, and it's provided more hearty laughs than anything else has for a good long time. Swarm, even in death, has brought us laughter. What a guy.

And since everyone at Galacticon thought you and your friends could, in fact, take a joke, is why they were willing to post that. But you couldn't. Which is why Rob is gone and instead of talking about 2122 and the return of a character, who according to Rob, you should all be enamored with right now, you are still talking about him. The fact that you posted this proves that either I did a horrible job trying to get my point across, or you didn't read any of my posts. I'm not sure which, and it really doesn't matter at this point. I love a good joke, and have in fact said that, done differently, the fake spoiler thing was a cool idea. I'm sad to see Swarm go, he's fun to agrue with, and keeps things interesting here. My agrument about this whole thing was never about him, it was about the idea. He was just the foremost person who disagreed with me. I'm only still talking about him because you, Joe, and others keep putting words in my mouth, which annoys me, and until BDS puts the finishing touches on the new web site for my book store, I don't have a lot to do atm at work. I'd definately love to talk about 2122, but since I don't have it, and there's not that much posted about it yet, there's not alot I can say. My post in his fed thread was genuinely meant to be a white flag... which y'all don't seem to believe. It was clear that the majority of the board didn't agree with me, and I was trying to end things in a fun way, I thought since so many people were accusing me of not getting a joke, making one might help. Clearly, Swarm didn't take it that way, and that's sad, but not my fault, IMO. I did let him know right after I posted it that I was willing to delete it, I just wanted it to be there long enough for people to read. I'm actually trying really hard to let this thread end, but I really have a problem doing so when addressed directly, so its YOU (and Joe and Payback) that are keeping this thread going, not me.

and until BDS puts the finishing touches on the new web site for my book store I'll totally hijack this thread for a minute - the upload is on its way now, and should be done in about 15 minutes. Once the upload's done, all you'll have to wait on is for DNS to propagate, which could be done now and could take two days. DNS is a tricky thing.

I haven't gotten mine yet so this is holding me over. Holland, I personally think you should go to the grocery store and find the largest cucumber or zucchini or banana you can find. Polish it up real nice (I heard KY warming is nice) and sti I think you get the point. Our resident Internet Tough Guy If it were trying to be a tough guy I would volunteer myself to inflict the pain but I merely suggested that you do it yourself. And I'm not yours so don't use our. How about you and all the Cabbage Patch Kids stay on your board? Sounds good to me and I won't have to be some "internet tough guy." Even though I'd drop you like a sack of crap in real life but I wouldn't because I'm more civilized than that.
