First, let me say that whoever used the word pathetic earlier was right.
It is very pathetic that someone (or ones) are so weak that they would call Tom and complain about Rob. That is ignorant. Why don't you just hit Rob up, tell him what you think of him and be done with it.
When Tafkaga used to post here, I let him know my opinions of him. I thought he was a dog and a clown, and let him know.
When I had problems with MFT, I aired my grievances, as did he. That is why we have, if nothing else, a mutual respect for one another.
When I sit and think about how out of control and stupid this whole situation is, it makes me sick. I think back to Club Galactica, of which Rob and I were both members, and remember how much fun this game was. Of course I remember how well-adjusted many of us were. We were kids, and we grew into adults.
People that have been around for many years (Mark Ashby, Tim Dalton, Chad Olson, Pete Beck, etc. in addition to Brett, Matt and others) are normal adults. Unfortunately, I don't think I can say that about some of the other people I see post on this board.
Clowns like Holland, who get so bent out of shape over one person that he attempted to start a knock-off board of his own. A board, by the way, which has so much stimulating discussion that its longest threads are 1980s wrestler rumbles and topics about Rob.
I would honestly like to know why Holland still posts here. You have your own board. It has no activity, but it is your board. Really, why do you post here?
Other people like Wildfire, who said he spent a wonderful weekend with his family but somehow was able to spend the entire weekend whining about the alleged superiority complexes of GalactiCon attendees, are equally as sad. I would suspect he was one of those who called complaining since that seems to be the one thing he's good at.
It's good to see Bizarro's punk-ass back on the board. Your PNW set is pretty good, due mainly to Trav's artwork, but you joining back up immediately following Rob's leaving shows how obsessed you are with him. Well, that and the bullcorn threads on the Deuce that randomly pop up about him.
It's also nice to see Hawk back, too. I liked how you put your Hall of Doom buddies on blast a few months ago, but if you re-joined this board just to talk about Rob, then you need to evaluate yourself. Aren't you in college? Trust me, cuz, that is the best time of your life. Focus on getting laid, not on this discussion board.
People like Captain Cold and Executioner, who I don't have any idea if they ever even posted here, spend time on their board discussing Swarm ad nauseum. Why? Do you know how pathetic that makes you both look? At least Tafkaga stopped talking about him. Well, eventually.
I honestly don't know who did the complaining, and at this point, I don't care. It was weak shoot and you should be ashamed of yourselves for bringing message board arguments, if you could even call them that in this particular situation, to a man who owns a company that has been dedicated to bringing joy to you clowns for the past two decades.
By the way, I almost forgot Chris Ingersoll, who may have been the complaining party, as someone suggested. It's doubtful, because I don't think Chris plays (or buys) the game any longer, but I wouldn't put it past him. Perhaps he grew tired of Rob responding to Chris' arrogant barbs with comments about his cats.
Whatever his reasons may have been, Chris was out of line to post his comments in the Deuce thread about what Rob said to him in private. What happened to your what keeping private messages private policy, Chris? That's right, you have never paid any attention to your own rules.
Honestly, the board members who were doing all the behind the scenes whining and moaning are reflective of the moderator. They take this board too seriously, as does Chris.
Everytime I have seen the board today while at work, I noticed Chris was logged in. I can see him sitting at his computer now, little Internet badge hanging off his housecoat, saying to his wife:
"Sorry I'm not paying any attention to you honey, but Swarm deleted his account today. I gotta stay on top of things"
With all that said, I would like to echo Wildcat's comments and say that this board is far better when Rob is participating on it. Unfortunately, the board will see that now.
In closing, I don't want any of the people I like or am cool with to misinterpret my comments about being well adjusted.
Anybody I exchange p.m.s with, I think you're cool people.
If, on Sunday afternoon at Galacticon, I make it a point to get at you and say see you next year, you're one of the normal ones I was talking about.
