Today is 07/07/07 (July 7, 2007).
The casinos here in Las Vegas are liking this day because there is supposed to be even more people than usual coming to town thinking their going to get lucky today. Some will, but the odds of course really still favor the house.
I also heard that there is supposed to be a large amount of people getting married today on 07/07/07.

Problem is, numerologically speaking...7 is the lucky number...but remember that the date is really 7 / 7 / 2007...not nearly as lucky as they want you to believe. Further, for those that are foolish enough to get married today...your lucky number is a 5...not a 7...sorry about your luck.  |

I only noticed today is also the day of the Live Earth concerts. Nobody in Dublin cares because we have the Oxegen concerts outside the county this weekend so most of the focus is on that.

I know the people coming here to Las Vegas just to gamble today on 07/07/07 are mostly going to lose more than they win as usual (after all this town wasn't built on the back of winners), but how is the lucky number actually a 5? The news said today that there are about 3,000 marriages taking place today in the Las Vegas area and normally there are less than 700 marriages here on a Saturday in July. The temperature is in triple digits and about 5 people actually passed out standing in a long line here waiting for their marriage licenses yesterday. |

I only noticed today is also the day of the Live Earth concerts. Nobody in Dublin cares because we have the Oxegen concerts outside the county this weekend so most of the focus is on that. I wonder how many private jets, fuel to move equipment, etc was used for this concert? |

Man, the irony is killing me. Thankfully the 7/7/7 day is over. Wonder how it went for Big Bri who was DJing a few weddings I think.
