Benoit made himself. He's one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. Sure it helped winning the WWE strap, but I think he largely got himself over.

Big deal..I've seen Sabu break his jaw, tape it shut and finish a match. I've also seen Sabu slice his arm wide open, tape it shut and finish a match, and it was cut that required a 100 stitches.

I've also seen Taz break his neck in a match and finish.

HHH is a good worker, but I'd never let the man fart in my meal.

See, that's a flaw in the logic.....if wrestling is ALL about the business and making money, why hate Bischoff? He took WCW to the top. And just because of HHH being part of the Clique, he's not remotely responsible for nWo....I'd attribute that to Bischoff, Hall and Nash.

I hate Bitchoff..but the nWo was his crowning achievment and it will go down as one of the great angles/heel turns in the history of wrestling.

You'll never see something like that happen ever again. Because as far as I can tell, there is nobody out there that you could turn that would shake the foundation of pro wraslin the way Hogan going heel did. Nobody.

I consider myself a pretty hardcore wrestling fan, and I'll take Benoit/Finlay any day of the week over anything TNA can offer. Belidat playa!

Swarm obviously has the opinion that anything that isn't the WWE (IE the biggest, the fed that makes the most money) isn't good....and that annoys some of you....but it annoys me that many of you assume that anything WWE must be some sort of mindless drivel for silly donkeys like me to scoop up like the sheep that I am.

Sometimes popular things have artistic merit too. I'm not about to say that everything the WWE does is great, but I think blind hatred of the product is just as annoying as blind acceptance.

Also, to keep myself from getting too serious here....I find many of the divas to be ....not my cup of tea. And I may be fat, and ugly....but I am NOT pimply. TYVM.

I don't have blind hatred. I watch RAW and Smackdown. not regularly mind you..but what I have seen I have not been impressed with. Although I will admit at times SD can offer up some solid in ring action.

As far as WWE divas go..I'm a fan of some..not a fan of others. And I am pretty good looking duder. see my sweet avatar for proof.

BTW, I thought Jen England should of won the diva search. Not only was she from MI but she was the best looking one out of the bunch.

Also, I wasn't meaning to single you or anyone else out as blindly hating...I havent seen much of that in this thread, but it does happen at times on the board....and it happens from both sides. I often fall on the side that is willing to give the WWE a break on some of the silly crap because I have gotten a lot of enjoyment from the company over the years.

Some comments regarding Triple H:

--Best I can recall, H got buried following the clique incident when Hall and Nash left for WCW. He dug himself out of that hole because he is that damn good.

--Triple H was main eventing before he got involved with Stephanie.

--If Triple H had been in his prime before the age of the Internet, the man would be mentioned in the same circles as Ric Flair, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkle. H excels at every aspect of pro wrestling, but for some reason people want to credit his sucess to things other than his ability.

--Since, according to the IWC, the only reason he was given the ball when Austin, Rock, and Foley walked away was because of his relationship with Stephanie, I ask someone to tell me who else should have been "the guy" during that period. Face it, there was no one else. There was, and is, no one in the business that has a complete game like Triple H.

10. Cena sucks yet has put on **** matches for over a year now. he's had some good matches but 4 star, not really.

11. If the favorite loses a match, he is being buried. everyone needs to lose!

12. If a favorite is being in midcard matches after main eventing one time, he is being depushed. again no, you can't push everybody all the time...varity is good.

13. If a guy from WCW goes to the WWE and never wins the world title, it's HHH's fault. nope, it's Vince's fault cause he's a jackass

14. In real-life, big boobs are good. In wrestling, they are bad. big boobs are good always,except when their taking up wrestling time..if i want half naked women i'll turn on Cinamax.

15. TNA is going to turn it around any day now. I disagree, this isn't going to happen anytime soon.

22. RAW sucks every week no matter what. Some weeks are better than others.

27. They claim at least 5 times a year that they are "Never watching WWE again!" I watch every week, every show.Through the good and the bad, I'm there.

28. If you were born in 1992, you will probably talk about an event in 1988 as if you were there to witness it. most kids do.

29. Being a prick or rotten human being only matters when you have "bad work rate" (see Warrior). If you have good work rate, it's overlooked (see Shawn Michaels). I hate the Warrior and Michaels so they can both go to Hell.

30. Smackdown is better than Raw even though Raw has more viewers and is higher rated each week. Right now I'm liking Smackdown better but that could change next week.

31. C.M. Punk must never lose or he is being buried. Everyone needs to lose. His day will come. Everyone calm down remember You can't push everybody all the time.

32. Older wrestlers should always job to younger talent, unless that older wrestler is Ric Flair, HBK, The Undertaker or an ECW Original. It should be a nice mix of older talent with younger talent. Shock the viewer, they might tune in to be surprised.

33. Anything Swarm likes you must automatically hate. I like Swarm, he can be a overpowering person. But he believes what he believes. It's his opinion and he can voice it, I don't always agree with him, but I RESPECT HIM.

34. All the WWE PPV's suck even though your cheap a** never buys or watches any of them. I like PPV's, I pay to be entertained. Just because you pay for something doesn't make it great. How many movies have you paid for that sucked, Excactly. I watch regardless, it's wrestling people, it's all been done before! It takes you away from reality for 3 hours.

35. ECW is a failure because it averages a 1.4 rating or higher even though the "Old ECW" never averaged more than a 1.0 rating very often. I like both shows. Old ECW was better, but New ECW is still young and can improve. Still the best hour of wresling on TV right now!

That was fun, I have no idea what my Smark % was, nor do care. I like what I like. Nobody can or will change my mind...Thats why it's called MY OPINION!!!No 2 people are gonna see things the same way on everything. So if we agree great, and if we don't, who cares cause we aren't the same Person. We all have 1 thing in common ...WE love COTG and their products.

Ok, I know that everyone thinks the only reason HHH got a push was becasue of Stephanie, but he was the Champion BEFORE he even started dating her.

We know you love the old ECW and it was a pioneering fed. But just becasue someone uses weapons and can do 100 flips/somersaults doesn't mean they were good.

I know people always bring up Guerro, Malenko, Jericho. But these guys were wrestling for other promotions before going to ECW.

What helps make a good wrestling match is the REASON for the match and what's at stake.

A guy could be the best worker ever but if he can't get over with the fans into caring why he wrestles, it doesn't matter.
